Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Lage ist gut, genau am Rand der Altstadt.
Das Zimmer an sich ist recht hübsch eingerichtet.

Cons:

Es ist sehr laut im Zimmer, auch nachts. Man hat zwar doppelte Fenster für die Schallisolierung aber die helfen leider wenig.

Never staying there again!

Checking in and reception staff unfriendly and uninviting!!!
Check in was awful with the man continuously telling us of extra charges esp if we lost anything of the hotel!
When we asked of breakfast or cafes for the morning he said nothing was around and we would have to go to the city or try the Seven Eleven. We recovered there were numerous excellent cafes next door and within 50mtrs.
When asking for anything his favourite response was “No have”!!!
Three of us and daily we were given three coffee sachets, three sugars and three creamers!! “No have” when we asked for more!!!
Reception lobby was uninviting and staff continuously hung around busy playing on their phones. Never a greeting or pleasantries!!
Entrance area was not clear or appealing and the slippery path with wet land was never cleaned.
Shower head did not stay up and water was as intermittent!!

Big Tree Hotel - Good!
Pros:

It was a nice quiet stay with I believe moderate to low occupancy during our stay. It was quiet to sleep which is most important and was a short BOLT ride into the old city attractions. Could be walked in under 10 minutes. A good value for the price and I would book a room again...

Pros:

No kitchen, but there is a fridge. Very reasonable price in old town. Don’t let the amazingly tacky lobby fool you. You might be embarrassed at the start when you bring guests, but the rooms are excellent.
