Room design and layout so bad , impossible to use tiny sink, WC too close to shower , no bed side locker or power.
staff helpful but all let down by poor design of bathrooms and bedroom.

Chala number six has been an absolute dream. The staff was warm and hospitable always with a friendly smile and genuine care. The room was clean and the atmosphere, tranquil, all within the bustle of the vibrant city. The afternoon tea was a cultural highlight.

Appreciated the 24 hr complimentary coffee/tea/snacks, the hotel has a great central location, just around the corner from Blue Noodles which is also highly recommended.
I been there for a couple day with my family, and i ask a frontdesk staff there for some assistance, her name is ARM. She dont even have a service mind at all. I think she got a bad attitude of working. SHOULD BE IMPROVED!
While they handled the issue quite well by not charging for all the nights we had booked beyond checking out early, it doesn't make up for the reality of the rooms.
The only window is a narrow strip along the top edge of the wall, allowing some light in, but, unless you are 200cm tall, you can't see out of it.
The bed is so soft almost anyone will wake up stiff and unrested.
The walls are super thin. Not good if you've got young drinkers in the next room.
The bathroom is so small you could brush your teeth and rinse while sitting on the toilet. Which might be the way to do it, because the sink is so narrow and shallow, you can't even wash your hands properly in it without soaking the floor.

TERRIBLE breakfast. Don't even waste your time. Go find some street food in the morning.
For the same room rate you can get twice the room with an awesome breakfast, great staff and beautiful ambiance right across the street!
We are stay here for three night and we had a great nights sleep. It was very clean and specious and the bed was comfortable.
The room are very comfortable, breakfast is included and served on the terrace where you have a great view. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was lovely but the bathroom really smells the toilet got blocked all the time but apart from that the room was comfy staff very helpful had everything you needed and loved the area and Chiang Mai

Deceitful
I thought I was booking Chala 6 ----- and thats what my expedia hard copy says ---- I arrive to be told "YOU HAVE NO BOOKING HERE -- YOU MUST BE DOWN THE SIDE STREET AT CHALA 2"

DISHONEST -- DECEPTIVE !!!!!
I booked this hotel by a mistake, as I remembered the name Chala 6. This hotel is a new addition to portfolio of hotels of this company who bought a small hotel nearby. This hotel, "art gallery", is small, doesn't have a restaurant (and breakfast), the pool wasn't opened, and everything feels temporary. Once finished, it can be a cute boutique hotel, the interiors are very nice. Until like March 2019, I wouldn't book it if I were you.
