Good staff, handy lovation
Good value.
Good location, big room and convenience to walk to city.
Really spacious and tall hotel located very close to seven eleven and the markets.
It was really easy to get to the main sight seeing areas.
I would say that the staff English level was a little low when I stayed and there were no explanations written such as how to open the front door from inside.
Hotel is a good value for the money. Was on top floor and had great view of the candle fest. Short walk to the old city and the he Saturday night market is on the his street which is closed to cars on Sat night. The street niose frome motorcycles is very loud all night th resr of the time. I've got to start booking hotels on side streets.
Very spacious rooms. Good wifi.
Well their wifi is so slow couldn't check my local news from home.
The floors of the nice apartment sized room were dusty. The staff were very nice, beds were comfortable, nice linens.
Probably the best value hotel in Chiang Mai, we only paid $27 US and felt it was excellent value for money, the rooms are enormous and spotlessly clean, close to the market and town and right on the Saturday walking street market, they have coffee available all the time, staff don't speak great English but try their best and there are safe lockers downstairs as there is no safe in the room, TV worked well, internet was ok, the only complaint we could have was that we were in an end room, 701, which is on the side of the main road on the 7th floor so you get traffic noise, ask for a room at the back. Would we stay at this hotel again, definitely yes, ideal for long stay, nice large fridge and sink in the living area.
Stay 1 night at The Chateau Chiang Mai Residence. Big room with 2 A/C with separate room for bed. Nice setup. Comfortable bed, clean room, good wifi, good hospitality and service. Staff has been friendly, helpful and accommodates to our every requests. Safe and quiet neighborhood. The best, it is located right in the middle of Saturday Walking Street. Will definitely stay at The Chateau Chiang Mai Residence again.
Wish the power points locations are better considered with bedside reading lamps.
Hotel was good and near to the old city where there are plenty of food and shopping.
Staffs were good and check in was fast.
This hotel is in a great location for exploring Chiang Mai as it is only a 5 minute walk to the old city. The rooms are enormous, quiet and very comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly but only had very basic English, not that this was a great problem as the city is such an easy place to explore. A simple breakfast was available if required, but there were lots of cheap local restaurant options in the old city. Great value for money.
For the price I guess I can't complain too much but the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned, the wifi worked terribly, the breakfast was just ok and none of the employees besides the owner spoke any English. Now I know I'm in another country but you'd think someone running a hotel in a town as big on tourism as Chiang Mai would at least have some basic English skills.
The Chateau is simple and clean. Excellent front desk staff who were able to help me several times with information and more on my 3 night stay. Good location near old city gates, and the Saturday night market is directly in front of the hotel.
