Amazing daytime staff - couldn’t be more satisfied with them!

The place and location, need an overhaul. The rooms need updating and the mini splits need servicing. We were breathing mould during our stay

Annoyed that we were charged premium for their rooms near the end of their season, the week we checked in we noticed their prices were over 40% off - for us, not worth the cost

For all of your activities, their preferred vendors could use updating. You’ll be better supported with more reasonable pricing booking direct - but this is likely just the system

You will need transportation unless you only want to enjoy their beach

Best hotel experience in all of our trip. The room was spacious, the bed massive and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, we really enjoyed the pool, and the private beach was pristine. Definitely a highlight of our entire holiday was staying here. Thank you to Maria and Panayotis at reception were very helpful and lovely to interact with, thank you

Beautiful property in from of the beach! In the sourh part of the island so is well protected when is windy, very important fact in Milos Staff was beyond great, specially Maria at the reception!

Extremely welcoming staff, cheerful, will go above and beyond to make your stay as seamless as possible. The rooms are lovely, come with a lot of complementary amenities. Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. All amenities were top class and the rooms were great. Food and staff hospitality was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Nice quiet location with a nice view. Decent breakfast. Only 1 restaurant nearby - but it was very good. Grounds around pool needs work. Bar was never open (9/16-19).

A wonderful hotel 1 block from the beach and 5 minutes into core old town. From our arrival it was clear that the host cares about his guests. All staff are great. Plenty of daily recommendations are offered. An absolute treasure.

The Golden Beach Hotel location is amazing! The hotel lacks personality, but it has a great beachfront location. The breakfast is wonderful, and Housekeeping does a great job to keep the rooms spotless. This hotel could be so special with just a bit of care.

I reserved and paid in advance for a sea view room. I was given a room without a sea view. The hotel refused to move me to a sea view room or give me a refund of the difference between a sea view and non sea view room. A total ripoff.

Worse than that, there was no hot water all week except for a few hours every afternoon. My shower didn’t drain properly, and the sink didn’t hold water. There was nobody to help me with my luggage when I left. I was glad to leave.

Isolated with very limited dining options and the bars close at 8pm. The only nearby taverna was lovely though. Rooms are basic for a 4 star property, although clean. Pool area nice. Beach is public so gets very busy.

Very quiet beautiful beach,nice parking area,helpful staff

I will begin with the positive, the beach is beautiful next to the hotel and the room was cleaned extremely well each day.
Now for the not so positive, without a car getting to this property is expensive by taxi either from the port or airport.
The fact that the water on the island is not drinkable, and the closest grocery store is in town they only provide 2 bottles of water for the entire trip. When I asked for more they said only on the first day. We were able to borrow 2 beach towels when we arrived and after the second day we tried to exchange them and were told you cannot. The pool on site is not swimmable as it is full of algae and not healthy to swim in. When I explained this they told me it is cleaned everyday. The water is green and and murky. The free breakfast they provide is fine for 1 night but it has no variety so when you stay for longer it becomes repetitive. I did ask for some orange juice one morning and was told it cost 5 euros. I will finish with this, being that this is called a beachfront hotel the hotel has beach chairs and umbrellas set up at the beach which you have to pay 20 euros per day if you stay at the hotel and 50 euros if you don't. There are chairs and umbrellas at the pool area but again you can't swim there.
When I stay at a supposed 4 star hotel for the price I payed I expect a little more. They try and nickel and dime for everything. My suggestion is charge 10.00 more and include a few extras.

L’hôtel est situé face à une plage magnifique mais sans aucune ambiance, aucun repas sur place et juste un restau à proximité. Une voiture ou un scooter est indispensable.

I booked this property because of its position and that was perfect....but the property needs some maintenance...the gardens, weeding, around the pool area all needs improvement....plenty of workers but nobody does much??? except for Chysoula who works tirelessly all day and was a joy and so helpful...the office staff were bland and unsmiling...so much potential for this property ....the day beach users use the car park for themselves taking away our parking priviledges and close sites...
breakfast was very nice although repetitive...
rooms were clean (thank you cleaners) and cool (another thank you) but basic...shower leaked all over the bathroom floor leaving a permanent wet area...
but i loved the beach and being away from the major town.

The overall experience was nothing less than horrible and disappointing. The condition of the property is very poor. From the public areas to the guest rooms. The property is in desperate need of a renovation and general maintenance. The guest room had many broken items that no one cared about at the property including the owner. I strongly do not recommend this property.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. Property has very nice sandy beach. A bit far from resturants but easily accessible by car.
