Hotellet är rent och fint med toppenfrukost, med stor buffé (jämfört med andra frukostar i Ryssland)
Däremot var hotellet långt ifrån fullt pga lågsäsong! Som guldmedlem ska man automatiskt bli uppgraderad om plats finns!? Det gjorde det absolut här, men blev inte uppgraderade!
Annars fint hotell!

A mediocre stay

On the plus side, our superior room was large, with good air conditioning, the showers had good pressure, and housekeeping was good.

On the minus side: things were old and rundown - the upholstery was ragged and faded, the beds a bit saggy, the curtains couldn’t be pulled properly along their rollers and it was not possible to darken the room fully.

Breakfast was poor value, with limited range of typical international breakfast cuisine, and greasy and overcooked. The waitress insisted we pay before we had even started eating, which made me think they must have guests who leave without paying, but also made me feel rather unwelcome.

At check out, we asked for a cab. The price quoted at 600 roubles for a 2 km, less than 10 min ride was a little steep. The vehicle took 25 min to arrive. When it came, the “cab” was a beat-up van with stained upholstery, broken doors on the driver- side and at the back, and had a strong smell of petrol suggesting a leak somewhere. It was clearly not for an established cab company, but someone who was doing a gig. The van would not have been acceptable on Uber, much less as a hotel booking.

Overall a mediocre experience. This is a 2-3 star tourist class hotel rather than the premium accommodation it sells itself as. Disappointing.

It was very well located
The room was lovely.
The restaurant very elegant. All the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful
The only issue was with one of the young ladies at the restaurant was extremely rude and unfriendly

Superb location, spacious room, good breakfast, great staff. WiFi was fine - I uploaded my pictures from my phone to the cloud for backup every night.
