Pros:

La gentillesse du personnel. Le côté atypique de cet établissement parmi les oliviers et la nature retrouvé. Le calme des lieux et l'espace piscine propice à la détente

It was positive overall.
Pros:

The villa is set in a stunning location with sea views and a beatufully kept olive grove/orchard.
However, it was difficult to commute on foot and by public transport due its location in the old town which is situated on a steep hill and the fact that the bus service was limited. However, if you are visiting with your own transport, I should think you will be very happy to have a safe parking space within the villa premises and the freedom to visit other destinations on the Cilento coast. If you are travelly by public transport though, I would highly recommend to visit during the high season as the bus service is extended tiil around 6pm.
However, Irene was very generous to offer me a lift to and from the train station or beach when I needed it.
The other members of staff, Nicky and Gabriele were also very friendly and helpful.

Wunderschönes Apartment mit Terrasse und tollem Meerblick
Pros:

Wunderschöne ,ruhige Anlage und sehr schönes Appartement mit Terrasse und einzigartigem Meerblick. Besonders schön sind die Fliesenböden .Alles sehr gepflegt und makelos sauber. Kleine Küche mit allem Nötigen.Parkplatz auf dem Gelände. Sonnenliegen und schöner Whirlpool im Außenbereich.Sehr liebenswertes Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können Villa Santa Sofia nur empfehlen. Optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Cilento oder Strandurlaub.

Dal lungo mare ci vogliono 15 minuti ma in fin dei conti se cerchi la tranquillità ti devi un po’ allontanare dal centro 🙂

This was our best experience of our 9 week tour of Italy
Pros:

We rented the deluxe single bedroom apartment and stayed 6 days. Great in every way. The private balcony made in even better. It provided sun and shade throughout the day with a great sea view and also a hillside vista. A private BBQ gave us additional cooking options. The town of Ascea was warm and welcoming to us even though we spoke no Italian. Everything you require is here. What is not here are tourists so one gets a true Italian village experience.

Nos gustó todo. Es bellísimo el lugar para descansar y relajarse,
Con desayuno en la terraza. Pileta y vistas excepcionales a la montaña y el mar. Parece colgado del cielo. Paz total, solo en contacto con la naturaleza.Volvería a esta estancia.

Cons:

Si no vienes en auto no hay transporte. Tomamos taxi. Sin embargo al retirarnos nos llevaron a la estación de tren. Vale la pena venir como sea.

Die Villa Santa Sofia liegt sehr ruhig am oberen Rand von Ascea, mit wunderbarem Blick zum Meer; Auto ist empfehlenswert... Ich war im Apartment Velia, mit kleiner Terrasse mit teilweise Meerblick. Klein aber fein! Alles bestens organisiert. Im Ort gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in kleinen Supermercados, gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe den Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr genossen.

Pros:

Abbiamo trascorso qui il capodanno con la mia famiglia (6 adulti). Gli appartamenti sono molto graziosi, puliti e dotati di pompe di calore, avendo soggiornato in inverno. La posizione ok per visitare i dintorni del Cilento. Personale gentile e accogliente. Sicuramente da ritestare nella bella stagione!
