Socrates Apartments & Restaurant

We had the most amazing stay at Socrates Apartments in Milatos, Crete.

The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped, with a breathtaking sea view that we never got tired of admiring. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset from our balcony was pure magic.

The restaurant was another highlight – every meal was fresh, delicious, and full of authentic Cretan flavors. It felt like dining with family, with so much love and care put into every dish.

The location couldn’t be better – peaceful and right by the water, yet within easy reach of everything you need. Milatos itself is charming and relaxing, a hidden gem far away from the crowds.

But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the people. The warmth, kindness, and hospitality we received were beyond anything we’ve experienced before. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and by the end of our stay, it felt like we were leaving friends behind rather than just a holiday spot.

We can’t recommend Socrates Apartments enough – it’s the perfect combination of comfort, beauty, amazing food, and the most wonderful hosts. We are already dreaming about coming back! ❤️

Ruhiger Ort aber ohne Mietauto hat man keine Chancen richtig wegzugehen , Zimmer waren auch sehr ordentlich nur beim Geschirr hatten paar Sachen gefehlt. Viele Restaurant in der Nähe und nur ein kleiner „Supermarkt“. Alle sind sehr freundlich ! Wir hatten ein Auto gemietet deshalb war für uns der Ort kein Problem.

Uitstekend eten, vriendelijke mensen, goede service. Studio's zijn minimaal uitgerust met kookgerei. Uitzicht op zee. Zeer goede prijs!

L’accueil du propriétaire était chaleureux,le site était pittoresque au bord de la mer. Nous avons apprécié la situation géographique bien que l’accès par route n’était pas évident.Le stationnement à proximité de l’hôtel était facile. La nourriture du restaurant de l’hôtel était excellente, quelle belle hospitalité ! Nous y retournerons sans hésitation. Anne-Marie et Alain

Supertolle Lage direkt am Meer! Wir konnten bis spätmorgens ausschlafen und hatten wirklich unsere Ruhe! Unser Balkon hatte fast bis mittags noch Schatten, was sehr angenehm war. Auf dem Balkon sitzen, das selbstgemachte Müsli essen, den griechischen Kaffee vom Restaurant geniessen und auf das Meer hinausblicken, was will man noch mehr?

This is a fabulous little apartment complex in a superb location – a couple of minutes after locking the door you can be in the sea, or sat waiting for some cheap & tasty fresh Greek cuisine from the restaurant downstairs. The apartment is very clean & well furnished (with everything except a tv, unusually) & everything seems very new. The air conditioning is great & very welcome! The people are really welcoming, helpful & very friendly. I spent a very happy week here & would definitely book again in the future!

Tutto perfetto! Stanza nuova, ampia e pulita a pochi metri dal mare. Proprietari gentili e super disponibili. Ottimo ristorante con menù davvero ampio e gustoso. Posto tranquillo dove potersi rilassare e godersi le proprie vacanze.
