Pros:

Really nice hotel, large warm room with a super large bed and comfortable chairs. A large walk in shower with good hot water. Good restaurant with food with an Eastern flavour. Restaurant staff were tremendous. So helpful towards our handicapped friend. Absolutely lovely dinner experience as a result. Very highly recommended.

Pros:

The bar was nice. That was it

Cons:

It was extremely run down and dilapidated. It reminded me of an old leisure centre. For the price it was really really disappointing

Room was comfortable but unfortunately our view of planks and tin from the outside wasn't really what we imagined for our night away.

Cons:

Unfortunately when we arrived we found the building from the outside looked run down and did not live up to pictures supplied here on this site.
When entering the hotel we discovered it was in the process of being renovated. The lobby was cold and uninviting.
My husband and I were away for just one night and had I known of this I would not have booked this hotel.
We where not informed of this.
I arranged late checkout as we had reservations planned elsewhere for 1pm and didn't want to wait around. Had we not had plans I wouldn't have stayed any longer.
Unfortunately we felt taken advantage of with the lack of clarity in regards to the renovation work.
I had messaged this hotel prior to arrival explaining we were looking forward to staying there.

Pleasant and enjoyable
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful
My family got food in the restaurant and it was very nice and piping hot.

Cons:

The floor in the toilets were very slippery when wet…i nearly fell over

Quiet location. Gym, pool included.

Cons:

Gym acces included in price, but a lot of the equipment in the gym is quite 'tired' and certainly past it's best.

The room was small , the bed was uncomfortable, the leisure centre was worn out , maintenance going on in hotel , was just poor quality and not relaxing and would not think it should be a 4 star..
