Hotel Artemon

What a great place! The location is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant on site is excellent. Loved it.

Hotel avec des salles de bain toutes neuves.L'hotel Artemon est à l'entrée du village typique d'Artemonas. Les propriétaires sont charmants, sympathiques et ne pas hésiter à manger au restaurant de l'hotel où nous avons dégusté des spécialités locales avec un excellent rapport qualité/ prix.

Nous étions les seuls clients en ce mois d'octobre et l'hotel semblait à l'abandon.Le restaurant était fermé

It was an excellent hotel and the hospitality of the owners

Artemon Hotel is a small hotel (25 rooms) ran by a family. It is at the entrance of Artemonas and only 10 minutes walking from Apollonia where you will find many places to eat and shop. The facilities are basic but comfort is good, the place is very clean and it's excellent value for money. The owner is also very friendly. Excellent situation as a starting point to several trekking trails of the island.

Very basic. Bathroom tiny, inconvenient for taller people. Breakfast underwhelming .

A real family owned and operated comfortable,easy experience. The family that runs it are not only accommodating but excellent cooks. Well located to the bus lines and some of the best hiking trails available on the island. Safe and convenient. I miss it already

Bon hôtel. A 10 min à pied d'Apolonia (et le trajet par les petites ruelles est très agréable). A 2 pas de l'arrêt de bus. Grande vétusté de la salle de bain (propre, mais joints moisis). Avons regretté d'avoir visiblement la seule chambre sans balcon de l'établissement. Grande gentillesse du gérant. Reste un bon rapport qualité/prix, avec une bonne situation géographique.

However it was really noisy and the room was not very comfy.

Παλιό ξενοδοχείο που έχει μείνει η διακόσμησή του στην δεκαετία του '80. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν μεγάλο γιατί ήταν τρίκλινο, αλλά το μπάνιο ήταν μικρό με απουσία ειδών καθαριότητας. Επίσης, υπήρχαν δυσλειτουργικά πράγματα (δεν έκλεινε καλά η πόρτα του ψυγείου, η πόρτα του δωματίου είχε στραβώσει κι έκλεινε δύσκολα, η ηχομόνωση ήταν κακή, δεν υπήρχε σχοινί απλώματος ρούχων στο μπαλκόνι) και το πρωινό ήταν πολύ λιτό με τα απολύτως απαραίτητα. Γενικά ήταν καθαρό το δωμάτιο και σε πολύ στρατηγική περιοχή η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου, αλλά προτείνεται μόνο ως λύση ανάγκης.

Très bon séjour au sein de cet hôtel. Le propriétaire de l'hôtel parle Anglais et Français, est très disponible pour donner des conseils sur les environs.
La position de l'hôtel est parfaite, très proche de la station de bus et d'un petit supermarché.
Le restaurant de l'hôtel est très bon donc c'est une bonne option pour le dîner.
L'équipement de la chambre est aussi très bien avec la clim, un coffre pour les objets de valeur, un balcon avec étendage et une bonne literie.
Je recommande totalement cet hôtel qui est d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room is in need of refurbishment, but overall was clean.
The everyday cleaning of making the beds and changing the towels was not so good . The breakfast offer was basic but enough to start your day , and the lady making it very nice.

The area is good as it is within walking distance of Artemonas square and 5 minute walking to Apollonia ( city centre) .

The security of leaving the key at reception has to be mentioned. They are too busy looking out for their on premises restaurant so reception is always unattended and the keys are left lying on the desk ready for anyone to take them (probably that is why they have the safe in the room).
They are disorganized in the way their bookings are made, and their only system to look up reservations is a big A3 piece of paper . So your check in might take longer.

I need to mention also in regards to the restaurant they own, the food is ok but tiny portions, there is a lack of a menu as the owner comes to the table to tell what there is on the menu , and the service is soooooo slow . They have their poor niece working by herself to prepare all the tables and they do not help her at all.

The lack of receipt and the lack of a menu (as you do not know what you are paying) is a disgrace.

Abbiamo trascorso 5 notti in questo hotel che è in buone condizioni ed offre un ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo. I proprietari sono stati molto disponibili. Consigliato!
