Awesome front desk staff!
Pros:

This was my second time staying at the hotel and it’s absolutely gorgeous! The lobby is beautiful, the staff is welcoming and the rooms are clean and modern!

We particularly had a wonderful arrival in experience with Donnovan at the front desk. He looked very nice and had a great suit/look. Of course, I was being myself and making him laugh and he definitely had fun running with it! Our check-in process was super fun and he handled my antics perfectly. Super nice guy and everyone else that we encountered was friendly and awesome too! You will not be disappointed staying here!!

Central, comfortable and affordable. Great staff
Pros:

Clean, tidy, rooms well equipped and comfy beds

Cons:

Rooftop bar was almost always booked out to corporate parties and was crowded more often than not. Staff were apologetic but ultimately guests of the hotel are not considered

Disappointing, Worn and Not Worth the Price.
Pros:

For more than $500 per night, I expected much more from a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel. This property felt more like an Aloft than a premium hotel.
The restaurant was disappointing. I ordered chips and salsa, but the salsa tasted spoiled and the . It was surprising for a restaurant that promotes its chef and dining experience.
If you're coming to Boston to party, this hotel may be a good fit. The rooftop bar draws large crowds, and there was a constant stream of people coming in directly from the street and filling the elevators. While a key card is required to select a guest floor, anyone can ride up and simply step off when a guest exits. It didn't feel like the level of security I expect from a hotel at this price.
The online photos are misleading. The room looked worn, the furnishings felt low quality, and the floors and carpet did not seem clean. Overall, this hotel did not justify its price. It caters more to bar patrons than the hotel guests.

Great location
Pros:

Hotel is nice, good location in the Seaport. Lots of great restaurants around. Only does valet parking. When I called they said they did self parking across the street so I parked there, then when I checked in they said it's separate. Rooms are clean. Bathrooms are nice if you are solo or just a couple. Not crazy about the bathroom with a family, it's a glass sliding door and it's tough to get ready if people are sleeping and not waking them up. Shower gets hot water quickly which is great. The elevators in the building are terrible. They have two elevators and a busy roof deck so you can wait for ever as a hotel guest which is ridiculous. Staff was very nice.

Great hotel, rooms near Seaport Blvd are noisy
Pros:

The location of the Envoy is very central and walkable for tourist destinations. The hotel is beautiful, well designed and maintained. Bed was comfortable, and I appreciated that the toilet was separate from the shower & sink area. The staff is professional and helpful.

We had a room at the front of the hotel near the intersection of Sleeper & Seaport Blvd, and the traffic noise between 9:00 pm and midnight was bothersome. If you are someone, like me, who goes to bed early, ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

The elevators are a little slow, and that is worse when the rooftop bar is open, as hotel guests are competing for the same two elevators as the rooftops bar. The staff has put up a rope and signs indicating that only the left elevator was to be used for the rooftop bar, but people were ignoring it. We took the stairs down most of the time, but they let out on to the street and there is no access to use them to walk up. The hotel should consider making the stairs accessible from the lobby for hotel guests (there was a door to the lobby area, but it was marked employees only).

Overall, a great experience, I would definitely stay there again, just asking for a room away from the street.

Nice hotel terrible beds.
Pros:

Location was great.

Cons:

Beds were bricks and the pillows were worse. Even my 22 year old kids were complaining. Beds are not up to standard hotel standards. Other than that the hotel was nice.

Expensive hotel of the Autograph Collection category
Pros:

Impromptu stay overnight in the city to attend to a late meeting and early morning session. Hotel is situated at the entrance to the newly developed Seaport area in Boston and is in good proximity to the many offerings in the area. Arrival and check-in was uneventful, efficient and professional. Perhaps because of the late booking and a rather large gathering in the convention conference center nearby, the rates were astronomically high (ridiculous). Assigned room, although nicely furnished with the expected amenities - is not commensurate with the high rates charged. Room is open plan, viz. no cupboards or doors to bathrooms but was largely functional. Assigned room has a view of the gym across the street that had a clear view into the room with the curtains open - not a desirable feature as this required I drew the curtains that made the room dark. I liked the availability of outlets next to the bed and in the working area but climate control was sluggish (did not cool) and the sink did not drain - which is a basic "no" for me. The bed, while comfortable, creaked (irritatingly loudly) with small movements and the room was not as sound-proof as it needs to be - as I could hear street noises. But the walk-in shower was in good working order and provided good service. I would rate this establishment higher if not for the rates levied and the few noted imperfections. Roof top venue is a thing - but over-rated in my opinion. The small lobby was chaotic and noisy with the many guests visiting the roof top restaurant-bar.

Pros and Cons
Pros:

There are pros and cons to this hotel.
Pros: excellent location in the Seaport, the restaurant and bar downstairs was great and the rooms are minimalist but cool.
Cons: the Rooftop bar is a great feature of this hotel but it’s over run with 20 somethings and influencers. It’s a total scene! To the point of getting back to your room is difficult. The lobby is filled with people waiting to get to the rooftop bar or waiting for Ubers to leave. The elevator situation needs a better plan for guests since I shouldn’t have to be squished into an overcrowded elevator with a gaggle of 20 year olds to get to my room and or wait several cycles of elevators to get back to my room. Also from a security point of view the number of random non guest in the elevator is concerning. At night you need a key to get to your floor but anyone not staying at hotel could get off the elevator on any floor if they were riding the elevator with a guest who swiped to go to their room. There should be a separate elevator for guest and more security in lobby etc due to mass number of non guests. The warmer weather makes this whole situation worse both during day and at night.
I do not think I’d stay here again based upon the security concerns.

Best hotel in Boston!
Pros:

Great hotel! The property is beautiful and centrally located. We were able to walk to many of the attractions and restaurants we wanted to check out. The room was cozy and clean with a great view. Even the bathroom rivaled that of a resort.

The staff was exceptional. RJ and Lonzo were very accommodating and helpful, very genuine when assisting us with whatever we needed. The hotel restaurant Para Maria was delicious! Get the burger, you won’t regret it. The bartender Brittany was so sweet and made the best old fashions.

The rooftop bar is a vibe. If you want to sit in the igloos be sure to make a reservation beforehand, especially on weekends. But the drinks at the downstairs bar were better in my opinion. Also, The Barking Crab is right next door, a must go for lobster rolls!

All in all great experience, We will definitely be back!

Exceptional Service
Pros:

Quiet excellent room. Especially treasure the assistance of a staff member called Marty who extended great kindness in helping me with my Uber car as I was checking out of the hotel. He not only gave me my final receipt at the desk but escorted me to the car and rolled my bags out to it over the wet side walk. Over the top gesture was quickly putting the bags in the trunk of the car. Such courtesy, kindness greatly appreciated by this Envoy patron. Many of my family members stay at this Envoy as a relative lives nearby and all of us have been pleased with the service. Thank you. I have never met Marty before but the Envoy is fortunate to have such a gentleman on its staff. Few companies realize that it is the little gestures that win over customers.
