Pros:

The staff was great and super friendly

Cons:

The room had gum stuck on the divider desk, there was no handle on the inside of the bathroom door, the shower screeched the whole time you showered, the pull out sofa had so many stains and springs poking.

Good price, great staff, convenient location
Pros:

Due to the threat of ice and power failures in Mebane, we booked a stay for two days at this hotel in Wilmington. After one night, we decided it would be best to extend our stay by a day, and the third-party travel app we used, made it sound seamless. It wasn't. HotWire screwed us over. Instead of extending our stay--which one would assume letting us remain in the same room--they booked a new reservation in a different kind of room and charged $20 more, for a night in less demand!

I discovered this when I went to the front desk to just make sure that everything was good. The front desk revealed what HotWire had done. The clerk said that because we had used a third-party booking service, there was nothing that she could do.

A little while later, I received a call from the front desk. The clerk had contacted her manager, explained our predicament, and asked for her assistance. The manager arranged for us to remain in our original room. That alone would be enough to make me want to return to this property.

But every interaction with the staff was excellent. The housekeepers. The breakfast staff. The bartender. And that same clerk and manager. Such a dedication to customer service. And they did it with use booking through a third-party.

You might save a few bucks by using third parties, but third parties do not offer the same kind of commitment to customer service that this property displayed. They have convinced me to use Bonvoy more often.

The hotel property is comfortable. The rooms can show a little wear, but they are still pleasant. The bed was comfortable, and the layout of the room was convenient--especially for two people working remotely.

Breakfast was mostly adequate with the coffee and pancakes being exceptional. Turkey sausage on most days wasn't great, but the pancakes and coffee!

The location of the hotel is great. Just don't trust Google maps to navigate you to restaurants in the same general area of interconnected parking lots. It gets confused. That's an understatement.

To summarize, the property is comfortable. The price is fair. The staff is exceptional.

Clean, comfortable, exceeded expectations
Pros:

Pam at the front desk was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional which set the tone for our stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also good - the space was clean and food was plentiful

There was a light bulb out in a lamp in our room. I took it to the desk clerk who stated they do not have bulbs to change them as maintenance does this. She offered to change our room. We appreciate the offer but declined. The clerk offered to note it for staff the next day.

This is not a negative for us. I mention as keeping bulbs for lamps stocked where desk staff can access may need to be discussed and considered by management. This may have already been discussed and decided on, but wanted to put it on the table as a suggestion.

We are pleased with our stay.

Liked everything except on thanksgiving night

Cons:

except on thanksgiving night around 10:30pm, the fire alarm went off and everyone had evacuate into 30 degree weather. My family waited outside but then decided to get shelter at the movie theater across the street. This was an inconvenience for us.
