Locations cleanliness and facilities
Bar closed too early, especially during the World Cup matches
The location is great, you can just walk to the harbor and also airport not far.
There was a huge noisy airco unit in the room, as a European it was hard to adjust. Also the pool is tiny and looked dirty/green
The bartender was the best part of our stay. When we checked in we were given a voucher for $15 food or beverage credit, a free dessert at the attached steakhouse, and free tickets to a local museum. We decided to have a glass of wine before heading to dinner. The bar was busy so the bartender was doing his best to accommodate everyone. We tasted a wine we didn’t care for but didn’t have time to taste anything else so we told him we’d be back later. He poured us a whole glass for free, apologized, and said that he hoped to see us later. That was so lovely of him. We did return after dinner to enjoy our free dessert (delicious pecan pie) and to share a glass of wine. He poured us two glasses and only used our voucher for one, not charging us for the other. I’ve never had such a wonderful experience with a bartender. He made our whole night. However, the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the restaurants and shops in Seaport. It was very expensive and very rundown. The ceiling in the room was cracking, the air conditioner made a horrible noise all night when it did run. It was so hot when it turned off. When the fan stopped it clicked four times. All night. There was no air flow in the bathroom area. The water pressure was awful. The valet was very nice and quickly got our car. I’d never stay here again.
Our room 828 was beautiful, with nice views
The lobby and majority of the receptionists who were not polite enough
This is a very nice hotel. We stayed here to attend a show at the Leader Bank pavilion. The hotel is maybe half a mile from the Leader Bank venue.
I had prepaid for my stay at this hotel using points on my Marriott Bonvoy account. I expected that the room would be fully paid for but for any incidentals. When I checked in, I learned that there was a $25 per room facility fee. The good news is that they gave us partial credit in the facility for a portion of the fee, but that just seemed to be a scheme to get us to spend more money at the hotel. I don’t understand why hotels cannot just quote all in pricing rather than sneaking fees like this in on you at the last minute.
We self parked in a nearby lot for $50 a day. Pretty exorbitant.
Overall, a very nice hotel, but bring your wallet.
Great location, great staff, nice room
Beds were kind of soft, restaurant was either pricey or limited menu.
The location was great and the hotel was a lot of fun! Our young child loved all the games available and the pool. The lobby was a great space to spend time and connect with other guests. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The resort fee was a little confusing and how to utilize the food credit.
Staff
The building is practically brand new but looks old and run down. Ceiling needed to be fixed. Looks like water damage in the room and hallway. Hallways are like a dungeon. Overpriced and extra fees.
