Chanta was a breath of fresh air! Very personable, and had an amazing experience with her at check in
Staff absolutely fantastic!
Wanted to stay longer!
The elevators were fast
You had to ask to have your room cleaned the night before. There were hardly any lighting with one small table lamp and two small over the bed lights. The bathroom was well lit. However, there was a window from the bedroom into the shower. There was no room service nor any restaurant at the hotel owned. There were about six choices of breakfast sandwiches and some refrigerated yogurt for four dollars a piece to get any food for lunch, you had to go down to the refrigerator case which had hardly anything in it. In the evening to get food, you had to wait until the bar opened up and then there were very few choices, which were extremely expensive. The bar closed at 11 PM. The ceiling was damaged and looked like it would fall down on my wife. Also, the employees were not well trained. They gave different information or none at all. I am a Bonvoy member and could not get any points because I booked through your organization. I also got no special privileges. The hotel itself was situated in an isolated area where no convenient restaurants for breakfast or lunch we’re available. I have spoken to my attorney who advised me to wait and see how the hotel responds.
location is very good, walking distance from the port and good restaurants
rien
ils m’ont voler la caution de 200$ que j’ai déposer faite attention hôtel à fuir
We have stayed at a few different hotels in Seaport ( the Element, the Hampton ,the Omni, the Seaport hotel and the Yotel hotel )and the Aloft had the best front desks employees ever!! Monique was so kind and very professional. We ne er experience such wonderful service. The gentleman who check us back in the second night was alone at the desk. It was 8:30 pm and he had another couple that had some questions. I didn't mind waiting my turn, but when he was done with them he apologized for the delay. I thought to myself " I'm just waiting my turn,no problem"
Everything.
No breakfast
The bed
This is one of those hotels that lie to you and tell you there's breakfast and there's not, even if you payed more in the price like I did there's only a $10 voucher so if you want a bagel you can get it. It cost more to upgrade your room to get breakfast then $10 lol 😂. The location is terrible nowhere near anything. And the staff was quite rude when I brought up the breakfast thing. The only saving grace was calling booking.com customer service who gave me a $60 credit so thank you booking.com. I would suggest a different hotel
They had some games downstairs if you wanted to play them in the common area it was about the only + about this hotel
The staff was kind, thats about the only positive.
This hotel was absolutely terrible.
You cant park anywhere free- its a $50/day fee. OR you can pay $54/day for a valet, so expect to pay an extra $318 PLUS TAX for a 5 night stay. No parkinglot, no nearby affordable garage. What kind of hotel doesnt offer parking? Ive lived near chicago most of my life and even when i stayed at the hotel ON NAVY PIER their parking garage validsted/covered my parking charges because i was staying the night there.
There is a destination fee of $25/night too (which is insane, this isn't vegas)
NO lock on the SLIDING bathroom door, so if you are staying with anyone else i hope you can make it clear someone is using the restroom.
NO microwave in the hotel room, the "fridge" has zero room (you maybe can fit 10 cans of soda stacked),
NO free breakfast everything is $8 or more unless you want a $3 orange or $4 snickers bar. Ive seen cheaper prices at a gas station in a tourist area.
There is NO kitchen area, bathroom has a vent but no fan so prepare to suffocate from the humidity if you shower.
ALL of the rooms lightswitches are right next to the door. Walls are a felt paper & the ceiling is raw & unfinished and visibly cracked.
There are NO bags in ANY garbage cans, ive been on motel beds more comfortable with better blankets and pillows, no ice machines and nowhere to get water.
But hey, at least there is an overpriced bar & restaurant, laughably small pool, a tv in the room with streaming apps (but YOU gotta log in if you want to watch anything!), 6 hangers & 2 drawers! I will never be staying at any hotel like this ever again. Staff were kind, but this place is a joke for the price PLUS the multitude of fees for STANDARD amenities! It is not conveniently located close to anything, its a 35min walk to anything historic.
Rooms were nice and modern looking.
Bar times closing too early and the parking was horrible.
Amazing view
Room too crammed.
Biggest complaint is the $25 destination (resort) fee that they charge per day. They comp $15 worth of food/drinks, to try to make up for the fee, but note they charge tax on those goods, so you really have less than $15 to use if you want to break even.
As far as the hotel itself...
The location is a little far from downtown. They have valet parking for $54 per day. The closest MBTA bus and subway is about 10-15 min walk away.
The lobby had a bar and space to relax and play games like shuffleboard.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a refrigeratorand hair dryer in the room.
Negative:
- Once the blinds are drawn, the room is quite dark. The lights are rather dim by the beds. It was hard to see in our luggage.
- The A/C was loud. It went off a couple times. To fix it, I turned off the thermostat and turned it back on. But I didn't want to wake up hot and fix the thermostat at 2am.
