- Good location. 15 min walk to markets etc.
- Staff were friendly and helpful when needed.
- breakfast was fantastic. Wide selection each day.
-Had a pool.

Cons:

- The manager / owner of the hotel was rude. Never was friendly in any interaction and she appeared to be not impressed when I thanked the chef on our last morning at breakfast.
- pool area is not that clean. Lots of leaves etc in pool every day and the sun loungers had stains.

On balance, there are likely to be better options.
Cons:

On arrival, we were shown the rooms we had booked. One was OK, the other, a junior suite, was really not good for the price we had paid. Long story short... in the end we were shown many rooms... some were dirty, some were in disrepair, some were clearly not "junior suite" material. In the end we got something acceptable, but the lesson is that the rooms are really variable, and those arriving later (we were early) would have had to put up with something not very good.
When we came to pay, the option to pay cash in either THB or LAK (or by card). Booking info said cash options would exist "at current exchange rate". The rates we were told by the hotel were 10% away from the true rate i.e. the price quoted was ripping us off. No other hotel in Laos tried this trick.

Memorable stay in Vientiane
Pros:

I returned to this hotel because I genuinely like it and find its location very convenient (I was staying there before). The rooms are extremely spacious - this time I was even given a room designed for three people with two beds, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel also has a very nice swimming pool, which I enjoyed using, and the highlight of my stay was definitely the excellent breakfast. There was a generous selection of fresh fruit and a variety of delicious local dishes, all very well prepared. Overall, these aspects made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Cons:

One downside, however, was the issue with mosquitoes during this season (rain starting). Although the room was disinfected upon arrival, by the second night mosquitoes still managed to enter, possibly through pipes or under the door. Without additional disinfection that day, I unfortunately experienced mosquito bites. The hotel also did not provide any electric mosquito-repellent devices, which would have been helpful. Despite this, the hotel offers very good value for money, and I would recommend it. Although it is rated as a four‑star hotel, in my opinion it feels closer to three stars—perhaps depending on the specific room type, as rooms on higher floors appeared to be more recently renovated than others.
