The staff changed my room to one that was more comfortable. The bed was fine and overall, the staff were accommodating.
Pros:

A very good location.

Cons:

The hotel is extremely run down. It definitely has potential if it were renovated.

Pros:

The location of the hotel was very good, supermarket right in the next building. The staff was exteremely courteous, and helped us plan our stay in Nuwara Eliya. The rooms are nice and roomy, super comfy beds and heater was provided for the chilly nights. The Srilankan breakfast provided was super yummy (and available in vegetarian options).

Cons:

I chipped off 1 star from overal ratings due to bathroom fixtures. On the second day we did not get any hot water in bathroom (essential in Nuwara Eliya where temps were as low as 11 celcius), the staff tried to allocate other room bathroom but fixtures were not working there either.

Chambre extrêmement humide et puante.
Pros:

La localisation est bonne.

Cons:

Chambre extrêmement humide limite insalubre. Les murs sont remplis de moisissures et l’odeur est horrible. Impossible d’aérer la chambre, la fenêtre est cassée.
Et pour finir le tout aucune pression dans la douche, au point que le personnel de l’hôtel a dû intervenir car plus aucune eau ne coulait.
Cet hôtel a besoin d’être entièrement refait pour pouvoir pratiquer des prix comme ils le font aujourd’hui.
Aussi, le petit déjeuner n’est pas bon.

Hotel sympathique mais rapport qualité prix à revoir
Pros:

Très bon emplacement. Personnel sympathique qui nous a rapidement trouvé une solution suite à un soucis de chambre.

Cons:

Première chambre collée au restaurant, odeurs et bruits,, salle de bain vetuste. L'hôtel nécessite un rafraîchissement, notamment des salles de bain.

Billigt men koldt og nedslidt
Pros:

Gammelt og nedslidt hotel. Koldt og fugtigt. Vi frøs hele natten. Fin morgenmad og venligt og imødekommende personale som gjorde deres bedste. Men stedet er absolut klart til nedrivning.

Convenient, satisfactory stay, but in need of TLC
Pros:

Great location, next to new food court and Victoria Park, and only ten mins walk to main town area. Lovely staff, a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast.

Cons:

Hotel sorely in need of updating and maintenance. It is a beautiful, historic building with many original features and the potential is enormous. However in reality the hotel bedroom needed repainting, upholstery cleaned, bathroom sealant applied and damp patches on the walls addressed. The bathtub needs to be re enamelled and skirting boards replaced.

Pros:

Le personnelle très accueillant et serviable , très bon service , bon petit déjeuner. La route à pied au centre très sympa à marcher. Les draps très propre.

Cons:

On a eu la chambre très abîmé et senti la moisissure. La dernier avec 2 lit séparé, les chambre avec un lit double était plus propre et rénové.
