The Estero Inn is a small boutique hotel right on the waterfront of Morro Bay, California, at 501 Embarcadero, with views of the bay and the iconic Morro Rock. Its meticulously remodeled rooms offer luxurious comfort, plush bedding, fireplaces, wet bars and private balconies, creating a serene retreat for an unforgettable stay in Morro Bay. The inn also features Vino Estero, an intimate dedicated wine room with a curated selection of wines from well-known regions plus local wines paired with artisanal charcuterie boards, and Estero Adventures next door, offering electric pontoon boat bay tours, kayak rentals and a 106-foot private dock. Everything in town — shops, restaurants, coffee spots and coastal landscapes — is within walking distance. No parking or resort fees.

Wonderful week in Morro Bay!
Pros:

The room was large and very well appointed. Great shower! Comfortable beds and chairs plus a little kitchenette with a table and stools. Breakfast was small fresh muffins, hot coffee or tea, and granola bars. Perfectly adequate. The views of the bay are the main attraction - they’re outstanding,

Cons:

It couldn’t have been better - it was already perfect.

Quiet, pleasant.
Pros:

The bed felt comfortable, the room was clean and well laid-out.
The neighborhood felt friendly and welcoming.
The host was helpful and attentive.

Cons:

I was on the 1st floor, so it did not feel exactly private. But it worked.
The mattress: much too tall, making the covers too short. I don't see the point of the mattress being so tall. Unnecessary, IMO.

Excellent location, but noisy air condition
Pros:

The location is excellent, really ocean front and at the edge of downtown. The facility is clean and the room is spacious. The in room coffee tastes good.

Cons:

The day we arrived was the hottest day in Morro bay. The outside unit of air condition of next room was noisy and on and off through the evening, bothering our sleep.

Comfortable room with a wonderful view!
Pros:

The room was very comfortable with an amazing view of Morro Bay Harbor. Our room had a balcony with chairs to enjoy the ocean breeze and was well appointed with fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. We also had wine glasses in the room which was a lovely touch along with the complementary wine splits they gave us. Very nice stay. Great location!

Cons:

The office was closed most of the time we were there. This was only a minor inconvenience because we were able to go the office of the sister property across the street for questions and assistance.

Awesome, delicious, relaxing
Pros:

Excellent Room, View Excellent, All Staff were awesome, Finn Bartender was awesome, Great location close to Eveything on the Embaradero, Restaurants and Bars, Great Shopping, Close to the Beach.

The perfect hidden gem
Pros:

This place is definitely a hidden gem and everything is beautiful and perfect they even go above and beyond with the tiniest details.

Cons:

The only downside would be the later check in the front office doesn't even open for check-in until 3:30.
