Zentrale Lage - unpersönlich - schlechtes Frühstück
Pros:

Ich habe bereits zum zweiten Mal dieses Hotel gebucht, weil die zentrale Lage für die Stadterkung wirklich ideal ist. Leider haben sich die Negativerfahrungen meines ersten Aufenthalt wieder bestätigt und verstärkt.

Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und bieten üblichen Mittelklassestandard

Cons:

Beim Einchecken wurde mir von der Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption ein Zimmer mit Zimmerkey zugewiesen, das noch bewohnt war. Als ich die Tür öffnete, sah ich Kleidung und Gepäckstücke. Das war mir persönlich peinlich. Und ein solch peinlicher Fehler darf einer Hotelrezeption (ganz egal wo in der Welt) nicht passieren (zumal das Hotel nur schwach belegt war).

Das Frühstücksbuffett ist eher auf asiatische Gäste ausgerichtet, obwohl bei meiner Anwesenheit überwiegend westliche Touristen da waren. Es gab so gut wie keine Abwechslung an meinen drei Tagen, die Auswahl war gering und die Qualität schlecht. Wer zum Abschluss etwas süßes essen wollte, musste zu Toastbrot und abgepackter Erdbeermarmelade mit undefinierbarem Geschmack greifen.

Die Serviceoreise für Dienstleistungen sind weiter unangemessen hoch. Das gilt z.B. auch für eine Taxifahrt zum LCR Bahnhof, für die ein Standardtatif von 30 USD verlangt, abends sogar 40 USD. Das von mir privat gecharterte Tuk-Tuk war um die Hälfte günstiger.

Il faut que cet hôtel soit repris en main par un bon gérant

Schönes Stadthotel
Pros:

Zentral gelegene Unterkunft, vieles fußläufig zu erreichen. Ansprechende Optik. Personal freundlich.

Cons:

Die Temperatur in der Dusche ließ sich nicht gut einstellen - entweder war das Wasser sehr heiß oder sehr kalt.
Der Poolbereich hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen.
Beim Frühstück wäre mehr Obst schön gewesen.
