A comfortable, luxurious hotel with a good price and location.
Pros:

It is right in front of the train station. There is construction work around there at the moment, so you need to walk a bit more, but it was not that bad. I was the lucky person of the day, it seems, as I received a free room upgrade, so I was super happy about it. The room was very clean and nice to stay in. The bed was super comfy, too.

Pros:

Close to the station, apartment was clean, staff were friendly, hotel did not offer dinner service plus road out front was undergoing construction which was a little bit of nuisance but not big issue

Cons:

There was a construction outside on the road, just opposite the hotel. So anyone going there has to walk a lot to get to the hotel. There was nothing mentioned about this on the website of hotel or booking. When I landed there, it was raining. Now how I am supposed to reach hotel by walking so much distance in the rain.

Eine außergewöhnliche schöne Zeit!
Pros:

Gute Lage: man ist mit dem Zug innerhalb von weniger Minuten im Hbf.

Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: zwei Supermärkte in der Nähe.

Nette Restaurants und Bars in der Umgebung.

Das große Lob geht an die liebevolle Frühstücksschicht am 31.08., v. A. Mitarbeiterin Fadoua. Als Geburtstagsüberraschung wurden wir am Geburtstag zum Frühstück vom Hotel eingeladen. Wir haben nicht nur einen schön dekorierten Tisch, sondern auch einen fantastischen und leckeren Geburtstagskuchen sowie hervorragende Cocktails bekommen! Außerdem hat Fadoua uns als Erinnerung Familienfotos gemacht, dabei hat sie auf alles geachtet und die Bilder sind traumhaft geworden!

Als wir abends zurückkamen, warteten ein paar Luftballons und eine Geburtstagskarte im Zimmer auf uns. Wie süß!

Der Aufenthalt im Mercure Amsterdam Sloterdijk wird einer der schönsten für uns bleiben!

Cons:

Die Baustelle dkrkrt vor der Tür verursacht Umwege. Aber es tut einem gut, wenn man etwas mehr Schritte am Tag macht.

Excellent hotel close to Amsterdam, Haarlem as well as Schiphol.
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staf. Great clean rooms with plenty of space and a great bathroom.
