Pros:

The shuttle driver & waitress were very nice. The cleaning crew does a great job maintaining such an old hotel. The location was close to the airport and pickup and drop off very convenient. The bath products in the shower were lovely.

Cons:

The hotel is old & needs updating. The shuttle bus smelled badly. Breakfast was not included.

Pros:

Convenient to the airport, comfortable and reasonably good value compared to other airport hotels in the area. It's $20 extra to park. We had hoped to pay for parking to keep our car there while we traveled over the weekend (they offer that service), but they had sold out of the park and go parking package.

We overnighted at the Hilton Garden Inn Boston Logan because we had an early-morning flight on a Saturday and this hotel offers a free airport shuttle. I shared a double room with my son. Though the hotel charges for parking the lot was almost full. The lobby is small with a lounge area with couches and a cafe immediately adjacent. We arrived around 5 pm on a Friday and it was quite busy but check-in was fast and smooth. Near the elevator going up to our room we noticed a fitness center, which we didn't have time to use. The room was clean, appointed with all the necessary amenities, and I was relieved to be able to adjust the temperature, because the heater was cranking and I need a cold room to sleep. The beds were comfortable and we got a good night's rest. We were up at 4:30 am hoping to catch a 5 am shuttle to Logan. Here is my main concern with this hotel and why I'm not sure I'd stay here again: there is only room for 13 people in their small shuttle van. There's no way to ensure you'll get on the shuttle at the time you need, because it's first come first served, no reservations taken. There was no orderly line for the shuttle, rather the lobby was packed with people all hoping to get on at the same time. People cut the line. If you miss the shuttle at the time you need to take it, you have to wait 15 minutes and hope to get on the next one. This could cause you to miss your flight. I'm sure most of the guests in this hotel have chosen it for its proximity to Logan, and I would suggest this hotel invest in a shuttle bus that seats more people. The shuttle, to me, is more important than the cafe, fitness center, etc!
