We had really an amazing vacation, we were here last year and the year before, we will come back again as soon as possible and special thank to Mr Massimo from the guests relation he is really helpful and doing more than his best to make us feeling so good during our stay ♥️
Travelled as a group of 7 family and friends, age range from 29 to 82. Absolutely fabulous hotel with amazing staff, great food and clean as a whistle. Plenty of activities for all ages, my 79 year old mother enjoyed the dancing very much, but no hassle if you just wanted to chill out. Lovely big heated pool with plenty of loungers, and the beach is beautiful. Our friend thoroughly enjoyed the food spa with the nibbling fish, my son, a gym bunny, said the on-site gym is the best he's experienced at an all inclusive hotel.
I've stayed here before, 2 years ago, with my son, and there has been some changes. No smoking in most outdoor areas, suited most of our party but 2 of us smoke so had to move when the urge took us. I wouldn't mark the hotel down for this as it's probably better for most guests. The upstairs sports bar was either closed or not there anymore, shame as we enjoyed that bar 2 years ago.
Guest services are outstanding, mixing with guests every day to make sure everyone is okay and sorting any issues straight away. My parents started with a room near building work and were moved immediately when they said the generator disturbed their sleep.
I'm lucky in that I holiday several times a year. This is by far and away my favourite hotel, to the point where I would happily forego a few breaks to come here more often.
The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, a huge plus. They had a pleasant atmosphere, and the interiors encouraged complete relaxation.
The comfort and freshness were palpable from the moment we entered, making us feel at home.
The beach near the hotel is simply beautiful, and strolling along it is a true pleasure. ms. Helena
Very bad hotel. The hotel was under renovation during my stay, there was constant drilling, and the smell of paint, etc. The rooms need renovation; they are in terrible condition.
Perfect experience of our first all inclusive holiday. The staff are amazing and so friendly, they simply can't do enough to make our stay and awesome experience. Our swim up room was pleasantly surprising and just made us smile. We toured Cairo on a day trip which turned out to be an unforgettable day.
The food is very varied and many places to eat. A lovely massage was had before leaving to fulfil our relaxed stay.
From start to finish, what an incredible team, you made our stay unforgettable 💙
From the moment we arrived, the entrance already showed that this hotel is not truly a 5-star property. Check-in was quick and efficient, and we were given our room keys without any issues. However, that was where the positive experience ended.
We had booked three rooms, all on different floors – which wasn’t a big problem. But once we entered the corridors, the contrast with the lobby was shocking. The hallways were dirty and extremely worn out. On our floor, there were holes in the walls, exposed electrical wires on the ground, probably due to renovations, and overall very poor cleanliness.
When we opened our room, the disappointment grew even more. Everything inside was old and worn out – outdated furniture, uncomfortable, sunken mattresses. The balcony technically existed, but it was useless because it was fully covered with glass that couldn’t be opened.
In the morning, renovation works started right above my bed. It honestly felt like someone was about to fall through the ceiling – loud hammering like with a sledgehammer. We went to reception, where a very kind gentleman helped us and offered another room. The new room was slightly better, but still not great: the mattress was worn out, and the shower was broken. After reporting this to guest relations, the staff fixed these issues quite quickly.
Cleanliness in this hotel is a major problem. There were two cleaning shifts. The first shift did an excellent job – everything was spotless, even making towel animals. But the second shift barely cleaned at all: they didn’t even change the bed sheets, just pulled the blanket over them, and nothing really felt clean.
The beach area was also quite dirty, and many sunbeds were broken.
On a positive note, the food was very good – a large variety and tasty options. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall, the biggest issue is cleanliness. I would rate this hotel no more than 4 stars, or realistically 3.5 stars at best.
Very good services and the staff is very kind and helfull allways there to help assist you. A lot of activity’s and the rooms are very clean and nice and luxurious. The food is really good and a lot to choose from. 5 different restaurants. Saleh our housekeeper did a fantastic job and Mina guest realtion manger was always there to help with everything and was very kind. Overall 10/10 place evreybody should visit this hotel.
I’ve just returned from a fortnight stay at the Bellagio Beach Resort & Spa in Hurghada, Egypt, and overall I had a really lovely experience.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this is a very clean and well-maintained hotel. Cleaning is constant throughout the day and carried out by all staff members. Public areas are kept extremely tidy, and any minor damage or wear is promptly repaired, which really shows pride in the property.
The food offering is excellent, with a good variety of restaurants. The main buffet always had an amazing daily salad selection, along with freshly cooked speciality grills. There’s plenty of choice for both adults and children, and it never felt repetitive during my stay. Bar staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to serve.
One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its guest relations team, who actively engage with guests throughout the hotel to check on everyone’s happiness and to see if anything can be improved. They genuinely listen and act on feedback, which is refreshing.
The hotel has a lovely large heated swimming pool, along with several other pools spread around the resort. There’s also a private beach, making it ideal for families. Children are very well catered for, with a kids’ club, child-friendly pools, and food options that children actually want. Evening entertainment is varied and enjoyable, with something happening most nights.
My room was spotless and serviced daily to a very high standard by saleh , who did a fantastic job throughout my stay. The room was well equipped, featuring a large television, a spacious walk-in shower, and a coffee machine with coffee pods replenished regularly.
In terms of location, the hotel is only about a 15-minute drive from Hurghada Airport, which is very convenient. Just down the road is the Three Pyramids shopping centre, offering fixed-price shopping and souvenirs. There are also on-site amenity shops such as a supermarket and pharmacy, although these are very, very expensive, so I’d recommend shopping off-site where possible. There are two ATMs in the lobby—one charges for withdrawals, while the other does not, which is useful to know.
My only negative criticism concerns the à la carte restaurants. To book these, you must pre-book in person with guest relations between 12 pm and 3 pm, which is quite a small window. As a solo traveller, I went to book but was told they were fully booked for the entire week. After some negotiation, I was eventually squeezed into the Italian and Egyptian restaurants at 7:30 pm. On both occasions, the restaurants were only about half full and remained that way. On other nights when I couldn’t book, I walked past and again saw them half empty, which was a little confusing and disappointing.
That said, this issue didn’t spoil my holiday. Overall, the hotel is very good, and I would happily recommend it. I would also stay here again without hesitation. The facilities are excellent, but the hotel’s biggest asset is undoubtedly its friendly, caring, and hardworking staff, who genuinely make guests feel welcome and looked after.

Excellent service and beautifully crafted cocktails. The bartender Abdul was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable, offering spot-on recommendations. The atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed, making it a perfect place to unwind. High-quality drinks and attentive service — highly recommended.Abdul the best barmen in Bellagio hotel.
We had a genuinely wonderful stay at the Bellagio Beach Resort and Spa, and in many ways it almost deserved five stars.
. The beachside location is gorgeous, the grounds are well kept, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and luxurious. Most of the staff were fantastic — warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help.ms Helena The service overall was excellent and made us feel very welcome.
Overall, Bellagio Beach Resort and Spa is a lovely resort with excellent staff, great facilities, and huge potential.
The entertainment staff is simply excellent – they entertain both children and adults, with a new, engaging program every day. The entire staff is very polite and responsive, always ready to help with any questions ms. Helena
The food is delicious and varied, with something for everyone. The pool water is clean and warm, and it's thoroughly cleaned every evening, which is especially nice.
The room is spacious, the beds are large and comfortable. Cleaning is done daily, and the staff is efficient and conscientious. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would happily return.
Absolutely disgusting rooms offered working on third floor dust and crap everywhere had to pay for an updrade took 2 hours to sort out. Johnson holidays not very helpful who we booked tbru
From the moment we arrived to when we left the staff were amazing and could not do enough for us. The hotel is large and has a beach at the bottom with lots of sunlounges and you can swim in the Red Sea. There are several bars and the bar staff will check on you regularly and bring a fresh drink. The main pool is large, heated and very nice. There are two main restaurants and three a la carte [which you need to book in advance], all offering a decent choice. The hotel itself is very clean and our room was good with a balcony overlooking the pool and sea. Housekeeping were very efficient and friendly [room 1351] and soon got into our routine so they didn't disturb us when we were in the room. No one asked for tips within the hotel, although we regularly tipped E£100 [circa GBP£1-60] for good service. The location is fine with a taxi into Hurghada costing around E£200 plus tip. We did several tours including Cairo & Luxor, but you may struggle if you just stayed at the hotel for two weeks without outings. My partner has several spa and hair treatments and everyone was very friendly. We had no complaints and would definitely recommend the Bellagio and go back again. Thank you for a great holiday!
here now and gaving a goof time the food is good the rooms sre lobely the staff ate amaizing and have been great sjnce ibsrrjved we will deffinetly arrive bavm
Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Regardless of their rating. They may be well overdue for a new review rating. Equipment, chairs, sun beds etc are all worn out, stained and in need of repair.
Negatives:
The location is worn down and rocky uneven roads and pavements. Lots of construction and noise.
Wi-Fi isn’t great .. only works OK when on the ground floor. The elevator doesn’t work properly. Press one button and they all light up and stop on every floor.
In the Lobby there is no air con and can get very humid & stinky when you’re trying to relax and enjoy a drink before meals.
The beach is barely a beach. Not much depth in the water either and no fish so not ideal for snorkelling. The hotels sea space is always taken up by the kiteboarding.
Spa & other amenities in the hotel are quite a rip off. They will come around the pool area to you and bother you when you just want to relax. They just want your money and are a big con, if you say yes, be very careful to what you are agreeing to, if you get a booking with them they still try and get more money from selling you unwanted products during your session. Be firm.
Spa - the interior downstairs is well outdated with stained walls and seats. It needs a spruce of paint and/or new modern decor. The masseuse staff very very unprofessional. Leaving doors open whilst massaging, we had to tell the staff to close the door and tell them the massage we had booked, they were clueless, leaving the room during the appointment with no communication leaving our body exposed, after the massage they say “give me tips” with hand gestures for money, this happened twice to us, which I find is very rude as this is their job and I have paid for a service that they should act professional and appropriate in doing. You should never expect or feel entitled to a tip regardless what job. I spoke to management & Ahmed who were shocked and understanding of my frustration so they offered me a free massage to reinstate and try to leave me satisfied with the service, which was a lot better.
The chill bar (shisha rooftop bar) staff are lovely but be careful of the shisha, itself last for about 2 hours. This made me and my partner feel a-bit nauseous and a tad ill the next few days.
Animation team are okay. Trying to bring the energy and get you involved in all activities during the day. Evening entertainment is a bit amateur and dated. Most entertainment were repetitive and didn’t switch up on their performances was very samey same. So not very well entertained. We as an audience need to be amazed and show lots of different skills.
Extra star rating only for
Housekeeping, chefs, waiters & bartenders. They were exceptional. Fresh towels & bed sheets daily, fresh water, extra drinks (no extra fee)
The food in all the restaurants were all lovely. Always a variety of dishes to choose from. The desserts however were a tad flat on flavour. The restaurant staff are very accommodating with anniversaries or other special events for yourselves.
The al a carte restaurants are a must but you need to prebook as they are very busy.
Unfortunately no allergens listed on each dish so if you are allergic or intolerant to a certain food you will not know what is in it.
The waiters in the evening & bartenders by the pool were very accommodating, especially Mahmoud & Bemen always a friendly face and banter along the way. They remember where you sit, your drinks & always come over to make sure it’s all topped up.
Another positive the hotel is a lovely size, the main pool is a wicked space and is heated which is a bonus :-) the lifeguards are lovely always chatty and funny.
If you ever would like a hot stone massage from the spa I would strongly recommend Reham she was amazing.
Also I would recommend the scuba diving experience that was an unforgettable day.
We had such a fantastic time thanks to the incredible animation team! They were friendly, energetic, and made every day feel special. From morning activities to evening shows, the team kept everyone entertained with so much enthusiasm and professionalism.
The night-time disco events were a highlight — always full of energy, great music, and such a fun atmosphere.
been here a few times… amazing animation so good for kids and all ages. the team are very very kind and are helpful. the reception people are so helpful also and help with anything. the pools are very good. slides are also very fun and there are pools for all ages
Second visit to this hotel and was even better than first time. Great rooms, clean, comfortable bed and beautiful pool and beach area. Food was tasty and varied and Chinese restaurant amazing. What makes this hotel truly outstanding though are the staff. Friendly. attentive especially helping my husband who needs crutches to walk, they really couldn't do enough for him. So a big thank you to all the staff who do a terrific job who really made our holiday terrific. Look forward to seeing you all next year

What a great hotel, I had no problems at all. The staff were always smiling and very helpful. The food was really good and no bad belly lol. The Egyptian and the Asian was very good, both Ala Cart but included in the price, you just have to book. The gardens are well tended and everywhere was very clean. I would not hesitate in going back there.
