long wait for hot water, no one at the front desk, broken cabinets in my room, wifi and tv didn't work for a night.
The pictures are just like the hotel. The room was great, with a view of the pool. It’s also not far from town, easily walkable for most. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is fantastic, we were given a complimentary upgrade and the room cam with a pool. The staff from reception to the restaurant/bar staff were superb! Some of the best hospitality I’ve seen in a hotel. We will definitely be coming back.

This hotel is a fantastic new addition to Mykonos, and the global AXEL portfolio. Situated only a 10min walk into town and 30 seconds from a mini market, geographically this is a brilliant location.
Once you walk into the main entrance you’re greeted by the beautiful pool right in front of you. We spent every day by the water in the very comfortable chairs. The gym offers a (small) variety of equipment but the universal cable machine is good for almost any lift.
The rooms were cleaned diligently every day. The bed was super comfortable with good linens.
I will definitely be returning!
Two night stay, July. Moved from a really disappointing hotel in Kalo Livadi after a recommendation from friends who were staying at Axel Beach.
First impressions excellent, clean fresh and not too far from town. Welcome drink, great staff especially Ivan at reception.
Room 301- private pool suite. Very clean, spacious, welcome bottle of wine and fruit. Lovely small pool with warm water.
Bed - huge, very conformable. Great a/c. Very quiet despite being only 10 second walk from main pool which had the best sun loungers I've seen.
All staff were great, friendly, helpful.
Absolutely nothing to fault at this great little hotel and definitely deserves 5 stars.
Really nice hotel not far from Mykonos town and incredible staff. Great pool area and the room felt spacious yet cozy. A special thanks to receptionist Ivan for great tips regarding beaches, bars and restaurants and an overall warm and welcoming attitude.

I really enjoyed this property and my room. Hotel was walking distance to center town and to a lot of the restaurants (if you decide to walk, be careful as you will have to walk up and down a lot). The included breakfast was great. Wish the food was a little warmer but it was still good. I will definitely stay here again if I come back.
this property was temporally magical. Stunningly beautiful. The rooms, immaculate and bright. The manager was a hoot. The staff, beautiful and attentive. I will go back as soon as I can.
Very unique resort with great rooms, many with private plunge pools that are maintained perfectly. Short walk to the old town and great restaurants. Resort has a great breakfast buffet and the staff are friendly and very attentive.
We stayed a few days in this very nice hotel: positives points:
hotel on a human scale,so not overcrowded, impeccable cleanliness. very reasonable price for Mykonos. very pretty swimming pool and exterior (garden). very good breakfast served until 11am (very good food)… Good staff ,funky DJ.
negative points:
restaurant is not open in the evening the parking is very small to park cars… a little out of the city center (15 minutes walk).
Very bad points :
The F&B manager is a bad guy ,he spends his afternoons around the pool ogling men!! and doesn't hesitate to touch customers, the good thing is if you are a woman don't worry he won't approach you (not even to say hello!!)

If you’re looking for an actual 5 star hotel experience, you won’t find this here. I’ve been to many 3 star hotels in Mykonos before which were by far better in service, quality, and the overall experience than the Akkadian. I’m wondering how this hotel can claim it has 5 stars. The employees need to work on their attitude and appearance towards the guests - barely smiled, barely engaged or even greeted us. The room is really small and a weird layout (the bathroom is open and next to the bed, no mirror), the food selection at the breakfast is minimal and the quality is a 2/5. This hotel deserves maximum 2-3 stars, definitely not 5.
A pior noite da minha vida.
O quarto da primeira noite tem uma janela que dá literalembte para o meio da rua, parecia que minha cama estava literalmente no meio da avenida que passava carros buzinando, motos fazendo barulho. Não consegui dormir 1 minuto nessa noite porque a janela não tem isolamento acústico.
Horrível. Nunca tive uma noite tão horrível quanto essa num hotel. Pedi para trocar de quarto na manhã seguinte e fizeram.
