The rooms were great, comfy bed and good shower and the staff and the oib it's self were fantastic
It got extremely hot in the room even with a big fan that's provided and the window open. We stayed in June but I can't imagine what it would have been like if it was any hotter.
Stunning location - personable staff and a top quality room
The room was fantastic, spacious, clean and comfortable. It had character which made it a far more memorable stay than a generic hotel you'd get in the city. The food in the pub was also great and the breakfast was lovely.
I'm picking here but the room didn't have an iron or ironing board. However when I asked, they brought me one straight away so it was a minor inconvenience to say the least.
We only live around fifteen minutes away from the hotel and just fancied a night away. It was amazing how quiet and isolated it felt. The town felt a little bit lost in time which was perfect for us. Quiet, no road noise just quality time with my wife.

The room was beautiful, super clean and extremely comfy. The bath was wonderful. The staff were all very helpful and polite.
The room was clean and the staff were helpful when we had a problem
It was a 35c heatwave and when we arrived, there was no Aircon, which is fine. However, the windows had been left shut all day and so the room felt incredibly hot and uncomfortable for a long time, even with the fan on. We also were not told about there being a 10k run/ road closure the next day and so we could not leave the carpark for 1.5 hours upon checkout. We were not offered the room for longer or even a free drink during this time.
Always a very enjoyable stay.
