The room was huge and had an amazing roll top bath and the bed was unbelievable comfortable and the food was exceptional I will definitely be back.
The staff were excellent from the booking process all the way through to departure . It was a very difficult time for me and the reason for my stay and they went out of their way to be so helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond.

Breakfast was good, both in value and quality. Reasonably priced bar with a good selection of beers/ales, etc. Bar staff during the day took the time to share samples of guest ales available - a very nice touch.
Rooms were very clean, and beds very comfortable.
Coffee needed work. I could see the restaurant had all the equipment, but the coffee fell short of expectations.
Ordered a flat white, which was weak and tasted like filter coffee with some milk added.
Some bar staff need to improve their friendliness towards paying non-local guests (other staff across the hotel were friendly, approachable, and very helpful). A bias was evident towards their local clientele from some of the staff. One member of evening bar staff was lamenting about my group out in the courtyard, as we were a little to rowdy for their liking. We were high-spirited yes; it was our wake for our deceased mother - what did they expect in a pub???
That aside, I would stay again, as the overall experience was positive.
The room was spacious and clean. A very interesting place to stay as locals frequent it and the food is well renowned.

We love every thing, it was our 2nd visit and we was so happy again, the room the breakfast the location. We even got up graded we was so thankful for this.
