Aqua Oliva Resort

I loved the location and how big the room was.
We had booked a suit with see view, however see view was minimal. The room wasn’t very clean, we found leftover fruit in the fridge from previous guest and kettle was full of scale, it was so dirty that we actually had to go out and buy white vinegar in order to clean it as we were boiling water for our baby. The cot provided initially was broken and the base had to be changed to one that was okay. We had booked half board, food was tasty, however not many choices available and we did end up to eat out more than half of our stay.

In general it was just okay but left us disappointed, not even once we were asked if everything was alright or if there was anything else that we would need.

I wouldn’t go back there, I would prefer to have spend a bit more money and choose one of the hotels by the beach.

When you are looking for paradise , one word come to me Olivia aqua resort, we made a last minute booking and we’re not sure what to expect, we booked on night coming from the ferry at Igumentia and what a surprise we had !!
The hotel is clean , modern and settled in nature with a beach that is amazing .

The hotel team are very friendly and helpful and always going beyond , my family and I were delighted and we extended our stay and for sure will com back .

This is a hotel which management have abandoned their duties. There are many signs of poor to zero maintenance. The AC filter in our room had not been cleaned and the room therefore stunk of old cigarette smoke. The grassed areas surrounding the walkways were long and unkept, the pools, notwithstanding numerous complaints on this platform, although sparkling clear the walls and side tiles where covered in green algae and slimy to the touch even the safety foot pads on the steps were missing.
The hotel is very obviously short staffed so although the staff are pleasant and extremely helpful there are just not enough personnel to even begin to supply the service expected in a 4 star establishment.
The breakfast was not great and again did not represent a 4 star establishment.
All in all the hotel is in a great position and has the potential to be a good family hotel but there is a lot of work and commitment required by management before it will be rated a descent resort hotel.

Need to Hire more people to improve services and hygienic rules. Kind and helpful personnel, constantly running after customers to fulfill their needs. Poor management, looks like they don't care too much for their investment. Stunning and quiet landscape ideal for calm and easy vacations

This a very quick touch up to an old apartment complex. It has a long way to go until it gets to a 4 star complex.

Very overpriced and dissapointing only for this reason.

They are some thieves! I lived the most terrible experience. The hotel has nothing to do with the 4 stars. The recepetion is the only space renovated just to “steal” your eyes..The room had old furniture and was very dirty, including the smell of mold. No cleaning was done and towels were only changed on request, if they had them. One evening they calmly told us that they had no more towels for the shower. The glass in the bathtub in the bathroom was just for shape, the moment you took a shower, the whole bathroom flooded. I couldn't use the air conditioning because it gave off a terrible smell of mold combined with fuel. The "manager" repeats that she has the cleaning certificate, only lies, maybe they have done it only in papers. They have drainage problems in all the hotels. The water in the pool was dirty. It does not offer sunbeds on the beach, everything is for a fee. Terrible breakfast, it was 50% bakery, very little fruit. The staff is few and very unprepared, starting with the so-called "manager" who is just a liar. Overall, the hotel has a very negative energy. If you don't want to lose your money, don't stay at this "resort".

This is a very expensive hotel that does not in any way justify the cost (£250 a room!). The website states there are two restaurants a buffet and a la carte. We telephoned to book dinner in the a la carte ( with sunset views of the sea by the pool as in the photographs) and were told the restaurants were closed. The only option available was a set menu . Our table overlooked the concrete drive and the entire area smelt of sewerage. Dinner was very poor. I did manage my grilled aubergine starter my husbands potato cake was uneatable. Neither of us could eat our main course of chicken and pork and pudding didn’t arrive. The only wine available was €35!! No local wine available. The management did remove dinner from the bill. The good points are the pool is nice but much smaller than the photos suggest and the room was comfortable and clean. Hardly a sea view tho. All in all had the bill been €100 we would have been happy!

Way overpriced, friendly staff, many issues with our room, very good food, hard to find the hotel, th area (Syvota) is not worth the visit at all

Facilities are immaculately clean, staff is kind and always ready to please, and the location is pristine as it is nestled between two tree-covered hills with a small sea view.
Rooms have sea view, side pool view and no view. Our party stayed in a junior suite church had a living room and kitchenette and pullout bed and bedroom with insuite bath. The accommodation was great for our family although it would have been nice if the bathroom was not in our bedroom. We had an issue with our room key card and access to WiFi, and everything was addressed immediately. The kitchenette was not stocked with any utensils or plates, but this was on account of coronavirus restrictions. The hotel had very low occupancy on account of coronavirus, which negatively impacted F&B supplies and some dishes that were prepared had poor quality products. As the days went by, things gradually improved. Staff wore masks and we felt that all safety measures were being obeyed, from sterile pool towels in plastic wrap to the constant cleaning of all outdoor surfaces. The location is nice, although the beach near the hotel is just ok and the single-lane yet two-way access road must be tricky during high season. Congrats to the hotel during this difficult time and especially to Nikos and Afroditi for their graciousness. Note: I did not notify the hotel that I was a celiac as I brought my own food, but they informed me that if I had they would have ensured that there were ample options for me.

We are not able to rate the actual property. Two days before our stay which we were already in Greece 5000 miles from home, the hotel canceled our reservations. I booked this in March our stay was in late July, they first said they had a flood later for us to find out they just sold our rooms to a corporation that booked the hotel. Considering we were coming for a wedding we could not change our stay. There was no other hotel available near by but they did move us to basically someone’s home in a residential area no were near the beach or any hotel amenities. It was very inconvenient and very stressful situation. I would not recommend this property. They did not care they just wanted to make double money. This situation ruined our stay and visit the the area.

La struttura è nuova e molto bella peccato che la stanza era piena di formiche e che il discarico ha continuato ad azionarsi da solo tutta la notte e nonostante avessimo fatto presente che era mal funzionante, nessuno è venuto a controllare.
Piscine belle e pulite e vista mare dalla piscina. Nel complesso un bel posto

Excellent rooms (big,new,very comfortable bed)

Breakfast was good. However during the first 4 days of our stay, the trays were filled with big delays even early in the morning. The last 2 days it seems something changed and the service was very good

Σε γενικές γραμμές πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο, καινούριο και πολύ καθαρό.
Μειονεκτήματα: Πολλές μέλισσες στο φαγητό, χωρίς να λαμβάνεται κανένα μέτρο για βελτίωση, Κακό wifi και κακό σήμα στο κινητό (wind). Δύσκολη πρόσβαση, πολύ στενό και επικίνδυνο το δρομάκι που οδηγεί στο ξενοδοχείο.

Great beaches nearby, flexible staff, several restaurants on site.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Access to it is difficult. You have to drive on a narrow road along the beach, where only one car can pass. The hotel is literally at the end of the road. There are no signs guiding you, except one outside the hotel (which is useless) and another one which is very small, a little earlier. The hotel's Internet is very slow (~0.3-0.5MBps at best), both in the room and at the pool bar. There was no 4G signal in our room, so we had to hotspot one of our mobile phones and leave it out at the balcony. There was only one pair of keys, so we had to leave it to the reception to have our room cleaned. The water in the bathroom had a very low pressure (we stayed on the 1st floor) and its temperature was constantly fluctuating. On the kitchen table, every morning, we would wake up to find hundreds of ants, even if we didn't leave any food on it. Breakfast was poor and the area full of flies and bees. The staff was very helpful, though. Overall I was sorry for picking this hotel as it is hardly 'value for money' (208 euros / night).

Με στεναχωρεί ιδιαιτέρως να γράφω κακές κριτικές αλλά στη συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση πιστεύω πως είναι απαραίτητο. Αρχικά ενώ είχαμε πληρώσει για δωμάτιο sea view κατόπιν φτάσαμε συνειδητοποιήσαμε πως δεν έχει θέα την θάλασσα. Όταν ρωτήσαμε τον λόγο μας είπαν πως αντί για την θέα αποφάσισαν να μας δώσουν ένα “ελαφρώς” μεγαλύτερο δωμάτιο. Αποφασίσαμε να μην δώσουμε μεγάλη σημασία. Ύστερα ήρθε η ώρα του φαγητού. Να πω σαυτό το σημείο πως αν αποφασίσετε να πάτε στο ξενοδοχείο τουλάχιστον πιστέψτε με για το φαγητό και μην βάλετε παστίτσιο και γεμιστά 2 εβδομάδων στο στόμα σας. Ήταν τόσο κακό το φαγητό που την επόμενη μέρα φάγαμε έξω.Το πρωινό ήταν καλύτερο αν και όταν καθώς έφευγα έτρωγα ένα κρουασανάκι ο σερβιτόρος με σταμάτησε λέγοντας μου πως δεν επιτρέπεται να παίρνουμε φαγητό από τον μπουφέ στο δωμάτιο μας. Θέλοντας να ηρεμήσω λιγάκι αποφάσισα να πιω ένα φλιτζάνι καφέ στο δωμάτιο μου (πληρώνοντας 1,80 ευρώ φυσικά με extra χρέωση για παραπάνω από έναν). Ελπίζω πραγματικά τα παιδιά που δουλεύουν στο ξενοδοχείο να βελτιώσουν την στάση τους απέναντι στους πελάτες. Πρέπει να ομολογήσω ωστόσο πως οι καθαρίστριες έκαναν εξαιρετική δουλειά και πως τα δωμάτια ήταν καθαρότατα. Τα δωμάτια ήταν ευρύχωρα, τα στρώματα αναπαυτικά και το μπάνιο πολύ καλό.
