Great location. Walls of room were paper thin. More of a hostel than hotel.
I stayed a week. The location is so great for exploring Moscow, with Kitay Gorod Metro on your doorstep, but everything walkable, anyway....., it's just a little difficult to find, without signage. I ended up, at the hostel section, only after asking, but the staff member walked me to the hotel section and was very friendly. No-one spoke English, but I found it easy and friendly to sort anything out. My main issue was that I had a heavy bag, and it was on the fourth floor with no elevator, but at this price, you can't have everything, and the room was a good size, very clean, the bathroom was fine, and I would definitely stay, again. A safe, perfect choice, for anyone visiting Moscow on a budget.
An administrator who runs this place is extremely rude. She kicked me out from the reception after I vacated my room without giving me a time to arrange my taxi ride. At that time, I was reprimanded for a dirty room and were referred as a pig. The most unpleasant experience ever. I'd better pay more to be treated with respect. Thus, suggest you the same.
The staff is helpful and friendly although she cant speak fair English.
Receptionist here is so kind!
located in the center.
Clean room.
Let's talk by google translation!
Little difficult to find , there are signages however.
Clean, cheap, good location, every thing you need is prepared
Noisy in the morning
Friendly staff, clean room, spacious, own bathroom, nice breakfast service. Overall great location and service for a small price!
everything is ok and the inflated price is “reasonable” during world cup, but don’t expect much from it
As said in the title, the room was really good for the price. Friendly staff. They did not speak English but we communicated through an tranlator app. Beds were extra comfortable and the room was clean. Only minus would be that the walls are not very thick so hopefully you do not get loud neighbours!;)
Clean and comfortable place to stay. Only thing is walls are thin and you can easily hear your neighbors. Also I checked in late-ish around 9pm and wasn’t clear how to get in hotel. Had to call to have someone open door. In check out wasn’t anyone at desk and just left the keys.
Our host Katya was the best host ever. Management is so lucky to have her. Hotel was great and in the middle of everything touristy.
The service is cold. Other than that, room was alright for the amount paid.
Really great location, really close to everything. It was nice, comfortable, quiet, way worse the price. The size of the room was small, but good enough. I would give it 5* for everything besides size!
The hotel is in a great location: 10 minute walk from the Red Square, about 5 minute walk from the nearest metro station and in general, the neighborhood around it is a nice place. The hotel is indeed very "mini". I think it has a total of 3 rooms and the rooms are pretty small. Also, it's a little hard to get into it initially since there's no obvious way to enter the building without the code. There is a phone number posted there, but if you don't have a phone with you, that's not an option. I had to ask some guy who walked by to call that number and have someone come open the door for me. Also, the girl who's in charge of the hotel is very nice and helpful.
It's a very small hotel. Difficult to find - but so is everything in Russia. For info, the entrance is down an ally which has a "British Pub" on (which is nothing like a British pub) and in a court yard behind the main road. There's a really good traditional Russian cafe around the corner - cheap, good, a bit unhealthy food. The staff and the customers were surprised to see us there, but it's good for a Russian experience. It's very compact and a bit noisy in the rooms, but if you're looking for a good budget hotel option which is near Red Square it's great. You can't flush toilet paper down the toilet - which happens in some other places - which is a shock to people from the UK. Lady who was looking after the place was there pretty much all the time, but she couldn't speak English. Google Translate is a very useful tool in Russia.
Tried to stay at this hotel. The staff were rude and unhappy that they had to take time away from other duties to deal with me. Talked back to me. Three different locations on two blocks. Unclear from the reservation that that is the case. Room was not ready at 4pm although check-in time was 2pm. In the end, the manager said I was being refused accommodation.
