Un lugar para desconectarse de la rutina
Pros:

El lugar cuenta con lo básico sin embargo se fue la luz en la primera noche y fue imposible dormir por el calor. Debería hablar un trapero para limpiar el baño. Sería muy interesada que se complementará la estadía con planes ecológicos como limpiar la playa del frente al alojamiento ya que es demasiado sucia (plástico, vidrio, calzado, etc). De esta forma se disfrutaría la playa y se aportaría al planeta. La playa dónde está el restaurante atendido por doña Adelaida es muy bonita, limpia, la comida deliciosa y la atención es excelente.

Very disappointing
Pros:

Hotel very far from centre of Palomino, the beach is not very beautiful and the sea waves are very loud at night. Service disappointing, not very friendly, no guided tour of the premises, not given internet password when entering. Internet/Wifi not working. Bedsheet had a large spot on it.
Worst of all, a member of staff who processed our checkout charged more than double the price quoted to me by Expedia and when questioned told me that the price was per person not per room, which was wrong. Unfortunately, as I had no access to mobile data at the hotel, I could not immediately double check at the location and made the mistake of paying
more than double than Expedia had quoted and a very high price for one single dinner at the hotel.
I am really very very disappointed and sincerely hope that Expedia will act on this very disappointing experience.

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at this beachfront hotel, the rooms are lovely & traditionally decorated. The food was delicious but the drinks were overpriced - the cocktails were pretty bad which was surprising given the high standard of food. I would recommend this hotel for a few days relaxing at the beach.

Awesome getaway..
Pros:

This is very charming, rustic hotel about 1 & half hours away from the city of Santa Marta and the airport. The staff is great and they go out of there way to make sure your stay is comfortable. During our stay we met the owner/ operators and they are all great. In particular, the owner's father is very charming older gentlemen who helped us with your sunburn by providing us with a clay treatment free of charge. There is a great private beach right in front of the hotel with ample space to rest and relax. The food was excellent, hands down the best food that I had in all of Colombia. I would highly recommend..
