Booked a twin room with twin beds, when arrived in room I had a double bed & a sofa bed. I didn’t ask or want a sofa bed & had I have known this I wouldn’t have stayed here. In the morning my Son said he had had a terrible nights sleep & that the bed was broken , upon inspection I found the bottom of the bed that the mattress sits on had two large holes which made the mattress uneven, I mentioned this to reception when we went down for breakfast & was told it would be changed for that evenings stay.
When we got back that evening & checked the support on the bed it was still the same, we checked straight out & went to another hotel instead & am still waiting for my refund for the second night!!. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, staff were very rude as well.
Central accommodation in the heart of Middlesbrough.
Amanda from reception went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
It was a bit hard to find the entrance to the car park.
nice food clean dining area
my reservation was given out to someone, even though i called earlier to tell them i will be arriving late. i had to literally talk before the receptionist decided to change the room for me.
Nice, clean, comfortable room. Bed comfy and shower large. The breakfast items on the whole were nice.
The carpets on the stairs and corridors are stained. The breakfast was ok but bacon undercooked and the orange juice was awful. Ran out of proper mugs so had to use paper cups.
The hotel is situated right next to the Middlesbrough Empire where our gig was, it has a car park which only cost £6 for the night. The staff were efficient and very helpful, the room was very clean and the shower nice and large. Breakfast was very good and they had the best hash browns, overall a great place to use when visiting the Boro.
The staff were lovely
My bedroom shook every time a car pulled into the carpark so I did not sleep properly for a whole week.
