The staff was very understanding and flexible.

Pros:

Das Guesthouse liegt direkt an der Ringstraße, man hört diese drinnen aber nicht.
Das Haus ist auf Durchreisende ausgelegt, die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, sehr sauber und ordentlich.
Das Hotel sieht von außen etwas wild aus, drinnen hat es aber viel Charme.
Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut!
Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Um das Haus herum ist im Moment Baustelle.

We did not stay at all.
Pros:

The lady at the registration was very helpful to show us the rooms and to help us get a refund for one of two rooms that I had reserved when we decided not to stay the night.

Cons:

We are senior citizens and there was no elevator to the 2nd floor. The stairs were difficult. The rooms were the smallest we experienced in Iceland.

Unkomplizierter Kurzaufenthalt auf der Durchreise
Pros:

Ich war schon einmal zu Gast und bin wieder gekommen, weil die Unterkunft unkompliziert ist und das Frühstück passt. Auch das Abendessen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Die kleine Lounge mit Kühlschrank und gemütlicher Sitzecke von Oma ist gerade richtig, auch die Möglichkeit, Tee und Kaffee zuzubereiten, passt für uns optimal.

Eigentlich hat alles gepasst :-)

wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen und es hat wirklich gut geschmeckt. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, Bett und Kissen optimal.

Ontzettend veel lawaai, allemaal werkzaamheden zonder dat daar iets over werd vermeld
Cons:

Allemaal werkzaamheden rondom het hotel (hele weg aan de voorkant lag eruit dus je moest je koffer door de modder sleuren en tussen de forkliften door), zonder dat daar iets over werd gecommuniceerd. Ook gingen de aan de achterkant opeens boren in de muur tot 9 uur 's avonds, en dat begon weer voor 8 uur 's ochtends. Dus nauwelijks geslapen, terwijl we wel de volle prijs moesten betalen, om te slapen op een bouwterrein.
