Great place would definitely stay there again

Very small room and tiny bathroom but had everything we needed. Nice that breakfast was included.

The hotel is in the mountains. The area is quite quiet and beautiful.

This was a good stop on the ring road when there are not many options in the north. Room was clean, cozy comfortable and adequate. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good. Breakfast was greatly appreciated, but there was not as many options as other hotels we had stayed at previously. Overall a good choice for a one-night stay.

Property sits by itself on Ring Road. Generally overpriced, as are most rooms in rural Iceland. Heat was insufficient (even for August). The smaller window lacked a blackout curtain (which matters in August). Dinner and breakfast were fine. Bed was comfortable.

It wasn’t clean. And it was right on the highway so it was too loud to open the windows. Although diner was good the included breakfast was meager at best. It really needs a good scrub.

Right off main highway so was a little noisy at times. It does have a restaurant but any other options are a bit of a drive. Room was very clean but there was an odor in the bathroom. At times it smelt like sulfur and other times like cat urine. For a one night stop it was clean and easy to find. I wouldn’t stay here more than one night. But it did the trick!

I liked that it had a restaurant and close to the road.
I don’t like that it was hard to get luggage up to room and the beds were very uncomfortable.

The place was a bit rustic, but we enjoyed our stay. The attached restaurant was good and served a simple but nice breakfast. The hot water in the bathroom gave off a sulfur odor due to - I think - geothermal heating. Overall, though, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

If you're traveling to northern Iceland, it's a great option for a one-night stay.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the view from our window was absolutely beautiful—definitely a highlight. There’s a restaurant on-site that looked great, though we didn’t have the chance to try the food this time.

One thing to be aware of: there are stairs to get to the rooms, which made carrying luggage a bit challenging. Also, the parking lot is a bit beat up with some uneven spots, so just be cautious when pulling in or walking through.

Despite those minor issues, the overall experience was great. A peaceful, scenic place that we’d definitely consider returning to.

This is a true gem. Roadside motel just like the old days. The restaurant was fantastic and our room was accommodating. Very cool spot !

Nice overnight stay. Dinner was delicious. The room was very small. We enjoyed the common area.

The property was right on Route 1. There's a restaurant on the first floor and they have really amazing food. There are lots of places to go to, but you’ll have to drive by the mountains which all had mostly paved roads.The room itself is clean. There's a common room for coffee and tea, and a fridge that can be used. The staff were friendly.

Great place to stay in Ring road itself. Very limited rooms.. Free breakfast & free parking.!! Enjoyed the stay.!!
