breakfast was great and loved eating on the terrace with views of the mountain. The room was exceedingly clean - the woman cleaning the room cleaned to a level I rarely see.
Room was a bit small, but did not spend much time in it.

The location, right in the middle of the historic old town was ideal. The property was exceptionally clean, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast on the roof terrace, with the stunning views over to the volcanos was very special. I loved staying here. My favourite hostel during 3 weeks backpacking in Peru.

Our stay in Arequipa was great also thanks to Rosario and all the staff of the Hostal Solar! They were really helpful in helping us with recommendations and in organizing the daily tour outside Arequipa. Our room was very comfortable and clean, the terrace was the best spot where to chill after a long day! The breakfast was delicious too! They also allow us to keep our baggage after the check out and they let us waiting in the terrace before our night bus! We simply loved it 🤗
