Hotel is decent
Pros:

Hotel is good, staff were great, Expedia sucks, they messed up the reservation of my suit, end up getting a double room instead..

Pros:

nice room, no elevators, breakfast is very average. Just above a motel range. definitely not a 4 star. perhaps a 2 1/2

Good location, but thats about it
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location. It's right above the hill in Kandy and only a 15-20 walk into town (though it's uphill on the way back). It's about a 5 minute walk from the Kandy look out point.

The hotel and room itself was ok. The room was comfortable, clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. But the bathroom...that destroyed the pleasant atmosphere that existed. The shower made me feel more dirty than clean. We even decided not to shower the last day because it was to bad.

The service in the hotel was good. They arranged a tour for us in Kandy with a car and driver and that was fantastic. They also helped with laundry and a plumbing problem we had. However, we went to the restaurant for dinner one day and the food was not great at all. But we kind of expected that. If you're staying here, definitely skip out on the restaurant.

Pros:

Nice and quiet, room comfortable. Staff a bit reserved with customers maybe an English language issue. Over all a comfortable stay.
