Handy location and spacious room
Pros:

Close enough to the train station to walk and in area with lots of food and other shops. Room was spacious with space for working and window seat for people watching. Kettle with water, tea, biccies provided. Thoughtful reward for hotel self check in was a free beer just inside the entrance door. I didn't have contact with any staff except for the morning when bar staff said breakfast would be available from 10am. Stair access to rooms.

Cons:

I booked the room over the bar based on a previous review that said it was quiet. There was fairly loud music from the bar downstairs from check in until after I went to bed at 10pm. I always bring ear plugs for sleeping but it was distracting when I was having virtual afternoon work meetings. My fault for not checking with hotel first about noise level and relying on review for that information as the room was clearly discounted because of its location over the bar.

Fab hotel for the price, no complaints
Pros:

It was in a good location, had a bar downstairs which was lovely for a little evening pint or a drink before we checked in

Convenient, safe , value for money and great location
Pros:

Great location , clean and very reasonably priced. I will defo stay again. Very helpful staff when I left some items behind. Only thing I’d say is more lighting in the room ( hence I forgot some things since the room isn’t well lite) besides all that a great place to stay

Lovely location and staff. Just need some care and proper house keeping.

Super place to stay
Pros:

The location is excellent and with it being self check-in etc we didn't actually have much staff interaction but when we did the staff were very friendly.

I loved the fact that it was all self service and everything had very clear instructions.

Our room was super clean and very comfortable. The shower was lovely and roomy.

Cons:

That there was no lift. We were up three floors and my husband has arthritis so a lift would have been very helpful.
