Hotel Torreon

Suite is just a big room with a small bed. No place to connect phone charger. It has lamps but not connected to electricity. Absolutely uncomfortable

Convenient location, easy access to airport. Good price for rooms... Loudy airconditioning needs to be replaced to provide peacefull sleeping.

Noisy. Internet inerruption unhelpful staff. Not speaking english. The arcon is noisy

Many improvements made to the rooms and restaurants, but the familiar services and reception were unchanged in the feeling of being part of the real heart of Colombia 🇨🇴 . And not just a number which is what is found in group owned hotels today.

I doubt I will be able to visit Peirera again but my memories are forever.

El hotel se encuentra en una zona cercana al palacio de justicia, en buenas condiciones, con un desayuno tipo buffet muy bueno, lo único regular son los baños, por lo demás muy bueno

We stayed with my family and in-laws for 3 nights.
First, the bathroom: it was old, a lot of rust on the shower heads, the shower door didn't closed all the way, so if someone showed the floor ended up wet from splash. One of our towels came dirty and I had to change it; or toilet was clogged. We complained about it and they sent a guy with a plunger. He couldn't fix it. The second time we complained they offered to change us to another room. One time I think I must have showed at the same time as another guest because the water pressure was very weak. Lastly, there was a constant dripping sound coming from the bathroom and we could never figure it out.
The room itself was old and the second night the lights went out. The maintenance guy had to fix it.
Breakfast: the coffee was horrible. One of my in-laws had to demand less watered down coffee. Some of the Colombian beads that are traditionally served hot were cold. I have to say that the breakfast staff was very helpful in improving when we asked.
My in-laws next door had similar things happen to them.
Lately, the bathroom at the lobby was also clogged.
The staff: they did not know much about Pereira restaurants ir how to get to tourist attractions, but they really tried to be helpful. They were very nice people running a hotel in bad shape.
I didn't give it one star because we were actually able to sleep, but that's all we could do there.
I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias, pero el baño tenía un olor insoportable a cañería, las camas eran muy incomodas y el colchón ni que decir, el desayuno no es tipo Bufet (bufet es que te puedes servir lo que quieras y la cantidad que quieras). En síntesis jamas me hospedaré de nuevo en ese hotel y jamás lo recomendare.

Ruidoso muy dificil dormir, con el ruido tanto del inerior del hotel como del exterior, no es para estar en familia ya que es muy incomodo, desayuno no es fresco. Me toco cambiar

Nos fue muy mal. La chica que atiende muy descortés el desayuno pésimo. No volveríamos. El precio muy elevado para la calidad del hotel.

Tuve una mala experiencia ... La habitación en la que me quede 202 no se parece en nada a las habitaciones que muestran en las fotos no hay aire acondicionado, el televisor es viejo y en la segunda noche del viaje dejo de funcionar. El piso de la habitación es una alfombra en muy mal estado. El segundo día después de haber entrado al hotel cuando volví a la habitación la lámpara de la mesa de noche estaba rota con pedazos de vidrio todavía al rededor del bombillo y cuando me acosté encontré uno encima de la cama. La limpieza es normal, solo que la habitación estaba en malas condiciones.

When I traveled to Pereira in the years 2005 to 2014 El Torreon was my favorite place to stay. Grand, classic Colombian hospitality in El Eje Cafetero. Wonderful guest rooms, terrific staff, and a really great restaurant. Do yourself a favor and stay when you visit!

Bien en general, aunque la primera habitacion que nos fue asignada tenía un televisor muy pequeño (21 '') y se inundó el baño, pero nos la cambiaron al dia siguiente y la otra era más cómoda y con un televisor mas grande (32'').

Muy mal, el cuarto no tenia wifi, ni agua caliente y el A/C no enfriaba lo suficiente.

Three of us, one couple and one single, stayed in 2 bedrooms for one night at the Torreon Hotel in the city of Pereira, Colombia.
It was not, to say the least, an agreeable experience. First, the porters and reception staff were not at all pleasant, in a country where, normally, people are very pleasant. They were not even helpful. The room price, which included breakfast, was very high, taking into account the quality of the room, breakfast and services. There are, in Pereira, several top quality hotels for a similar price.
