Important information:

Hotel Library reserves the right to pre-authorize your card prior to arrival. In case of a nonrefundable booking, the total price of the reservation may be charged any time after booking. It will be charged in the guest's local currency.

If this is not possible, guests should have an authorization form, signed by the credit card holder if he/she is not traveling.

Pros:

I liked the staff and also the location.

Cons:

My room was not clean enough, a very small room with an uncomfortable window. The bathroom was not pleasant to stay in, a clogged sink and hot and cold water alternately without me touching the faucet. The stairs leading to the room were too long, it was difficult to drag my suitcase up to the room. I stay at this hotel a lot, usually it was pleasant and clean, this time there was a feeling of neglect.

Pros:

O banheiro tinha um tamanho bom e o chuveiro era excelente. Café da manhã era muito bom. Ficamos apenas duas noites e passamos pouco tempo no hotel. A localização foi certamente um ponto positivo.

Cons:

Os colchões não eram muito confortáveis. O quarto era bem pequeno e não tinha ar condicionado, apenas um pequeno ventilador.

Quirky stay in the heart of town
Pros:

Large, spacious and comfortable rooms, really clean and cosy :) great location, within 10 minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal. Very much appreciated the 24 hour reception and flexible check-in/-out times. The complimentary coffee station and loft-style library space in the foyer are great!

Cons:

I was given a basement room at the front of the building. While the room level itself was no issue, being right next to the road meant there was always a lot of traffic and pedestrian noise. I was woken up at 4AM by a group of people chatting on the doorstep outside, and the smell of cigarette smoke made its was indoors despite the closed window

Not worth the money, find somewhere else to stay
Pros:

I liked the location it was close in proximity to the central station. It got the job done but it wasn't anything great.

Cons:

The bathrooms appeared dirty and it was very loud, frequently when people came down the stairs I was woken up and I could hear everything outside. The rooms were also very hot, I would have opened the window if it wasn't for the noise occurring outside.

Posizione comoda per stazione e centro città, zona tranquilla. La stanza era pulita e dotata di bollitore, frigo, asse da stiro, prodotti da bagno/phon e TV (pochi canali funzionanti tra quelli esteri). Letto comodo, bagno adeguato considerando le dimensioni della stanza. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Cons:

La stanza era un po' calda a causa dell'assenza di finestra (ben specificata in fase di prenotazione) e di condizionatore. C'è un ventilatore, ma non è molto risolutivo. Attenzione alle scale di accesso al piano seminterrato, sono molto ripide con gradini stretti.
