Staff and location
Bar is too noise
We had a great stay! The staff is very welcoming and the place is vibrant - the moment you come in, you hear the buzz of it yet when we got to our room (which they had upgraded to a very spacious one without additional charge) it was nicely quiet. The bed was king size and wonderfully comfy. It was nearly refurbished and everything was clean. The breakfast was very good too, with loads of choice and very tasty, nicely presented too. We definitely want to come back. Plus the neighbourhood was very pleasant too, really close to the centre (a few minutes away from the train station) and the steep street near East gate shopping centre that we walked to get to the hotel was this little gem with quite a few super inviting restaurants and we have a great evening in one of them.
Didn’t have breakfast
Water went cold in shower
Bathroom floor got very wet from shower
Smell of drains in bathroom
Would have liked a working blind on bathroom window
We were lucky to receive an upgrade on our room . We had a 4 poster king-sized bed with large ensuite, separate bath and shower.
The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Inverness but still feels quiet and "out of the way."
The food was excellent both at breakfast and evenings. The bar serves both guests and public making it quite lively at times, but we never had a problem getting a seat.
Despite this, the rooms are very well soundproofed and were never disturbed.
The room was a bit too warm in the morning. But I am sure we could have adjusted the thermostat on the radiators.
This hotel is beyond expatations, the staff are so nice and helpful, the location is excellent, the food amazing, clean comfortable rooms.
Excellent value for money
Over 100% recommend.
Nothing
Central location. Comfortable room. Friendly staff
Stunning property, pleasant buzz around the restaurant area when checking in. Immaculate cosy room, very chic. Extra comfortable bed, pillows and duvet! Immaculately cleaned, welcoming and some nice touches of bottled water, etc.
The shower looked so inviting but unfortunately didn’t function well. A lot of excess water made the bathroom floor slippery. Shower head didn’t function well, appeared to be leaking.
Beautiful room (8), lovely views and enjoyed the treats.
Nothing
Lovely big room and shower was very large.
Food excellent
Staff young and enthusiastic
All was good
Room was spotless. Room was upgraded on arrival. Was absolutely beautiful
There was nothing to complain about. Would definitely stay here again!
The room was a great size. Clean space. They provided tea, bottled water, and bottled sparkling water. Easy check-in and check-out process. The hotel was a 10 minute walk to the central area of Inverness, but had a few bakeries across the street + the hotel restaurant although I did not try the latter.
The staff leaves the premises after a certain time in the night. Unfortunately, there was an unusually loud couple in the room next to us, but no staff to call to notify. They were shouting past 12am and sounded like they were moving / throwing furniture. It was disruptive for sleeping.
Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner
Lovely friendly staff
The room was very small with a sloping roof and no headboard on the bed and was not what we expected when booking, especially with a pet, being located in an attic bedroom
Plenty staff available in the bar and restaurant. Room well appointed room.
No issues.
