Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at CS Hotel Amsterdam. The location is simply unbeatable – practically in the city center and only a few minutes' walk from Amsterdam Central Station. It was the perfect base for exploring Amsterdam and taking day trips to other cities.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially liked having the toilet separated from the shower, which made the room more practical.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated being able to leave our luggage until the evening on our last day. This gave us the chance to enjoy a few more hours in Amsterdam without having to carry our bags around. There is also a very convenient luggage storage facility just across the street.

Despite being so close to the center, the hotel was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Everything we needed was within walking distance – canals, restaurants, shops, and public transport.

Great value for money, excellent location, and a hassle-free experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Dissatisfaction and disappointment
Pros:

Not a lot, the location was fairly decent close to Amsterdam central and some key locations but that is all it has to offer

Cons:

The shower was broken, there was no soap and no shower gel despite advertising as such. The stairs were steep and dangerous, the front door kept slamming closed on us as we entered and left, the floor was dirty full of bits that cut my fiances foot. The bed was squeaky and also shook a lot, there was no other amenities to speak of and it was shocking.

Pros:

The location was great, it is very near to the central station. The room itself was average, quite small but perfect if you are thinking on enjoy the city and use it just for sleep.

Cons:

There is no reception and the instructions to access can be a bit confusing.
The shower floods the whole bathroom.

No elevator, narrow stairs especially with large luggage’s with you. The shower and toilet is combine making the floor all wet.

Nous n’avons malheureusement pas passé une nuit confortable.

Le lit était très dur (pour une chambre double supérieure), les oreillers étaient sales et dégageaient une forte odeur de transpiration. Une des serviettes avait encore des traces de maquillage. La propreté générale de la chambre et de l’hôtel laissait à désirer. De plus, seulement deux serviettes étaient disponibles, dont une inutilisable à cause de son état.

Il manquait également des produits de toilette.

Nous avons été dérangés par le bruit extérieur, car on entendait très clairement les conversations des personnes dans la rue.

Par ailleurs, le fait qu’il n’y ait pas d’ascenseur n’est pas mentionné, ce qui complique l’accès, surtout avec des bagages. Les escaliers sont très étroits et peu pratiques.
