Property was clean, tasteful and luxurious
We had a wonderful stay at Clove Villa. Umesh and the team were amazing, we really appreciated the birthday cake for my partner’s 30th it was such a nice touch. No complaints
Breakfast was good but if you don’t eat meat it was quite a small breakfast for the price

Absolutly everything!! The decorations +++++ , the chef and amazing food ++++++++ , the service and kindness of everyone , from our arrival to our departure ( the chef even prepared our breakfast to go ...very early ) .

Clove Villa ist ein stilvolles Hotel mit gemütlicher Gemeinschaftslounge, Frühstücksecke, Billiardbereich und mit verschiedenen Zimmern in mehreren Halb-Stockwerken um ein Atrium herum. Im Garten befindet sich ein Pool. Das Auto kann im Parkareal geparkt werden.
Die große Suite verfügt über eine Sitzecke mit charmanten Dekorartikeln, ein Doppelbett und ein sauberes Badezimmer mit Dusche sowie einen Whirlpool im Balkonbereich mit Sichtschutz.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und steht 24 Stunden zur Verfügung.
Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe vieler historisch bedeutenden Sehenswürdigkeiten, welche wir mit dem eigenen Auto wunderbar erreichen konnten.
Leider gab es zu vorgerückter Stunde nur mehr lauwarmes Wasser für den privaten Whirlpool und die Dusche. Das Frühstück wurde extra verrechnet und bietet nicht das wofür der Preis steht.
All the staff were fantastic and particular mention must go to Umesh. His professionalism was second to none and love of cooking was clear to us all. We left our evening meal choices to him and we were presented with his own recipes which were as good, if not better, than any restaurants we have eaten in. The breakfast presentation was also superior to anywhere we have stayed.
The staff went out of their way to prepare everything at the pool for us so we could not have asked for anything more.

Villa was beyond expectations, especially for Chef Umesh and Surangra. They attended to my every need. The villa is beautifully designed with elegant surprises in every corner. Chef Umesh prepared extraordinary dinners that I still think of. Having eaten several Sri Lankan meals before arriving, I found Chef Umesh's creations far beyond anything experienced before. Attention to detail and extraordinary service are the themes of Clove Villa. Thank you Umesh and Surangra for making my time with you exceptional.

The villa was in a lovely quiet area of Kandy. It was beautifully kept and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the food was excellent

A fantastic boutique hotel. Tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and a wonderful pool area. The staff could not have been more helpful, Yohan looked after us the entire stay nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner on the first evening and then booked for the following day as the food was so exceptional. If you stay in Kandy you must stay here and definitely have dinner.
Zeer sfeervolle accommodatie. Host was zeer behulpzaam. Heeft voor de volgende dag een TukTuk chauffeur geregeld. Die heeft ons de hele dag rondgereden. Was perfect om op deze drukke plek van a naar b te komen. Alles was zeer goed verzorgd en ook de was hebben ze nog in zeer korte tijd voor ons gedaan.
