We loved staying at Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown. We will always stay there.

I might stay here again, but will plan somewhere to go for breakfast.
Pros:

Room was very clean, and had a nice seating area, bed and pillows very comfortable

Cons:

There is no breakfast in this hotel. The shower runs hot and cold - think the domestic hot water system can’t cope. There is a ‘bistro/coffee’ place but it was always closed. There was no hand/body lotion, only a small empty bottle.

A great choice if you want to be treated well
Pros:

The best customer experience I have had at any hotel in a long time. The staff here are so welcoming and wonderful and deserve to be recognized for their hospitality. I was warmly greeted when I arrived by Courtney at the front desk. What a breath of fresh air and kindness she is. She was so helpful and kind during check in that I was really blown away by how great she was. Sometimes someone’s attitude makes all the difference. I recently had the WORST customer service ever from staff and management at the Crockfords LXR in Las Vegas and couldn’t stop thinking that staff should come to SLC to learn a thing or two and see how it’s done right.
Everyone at this property was so kind and accommodating. I have nothing but praise for this staff. What a difference!

The room was large, comfortable and had everything I needed. The location was great especially if you are going to the Delta Center- you can’t get any closer. I was there for business but it was very convenient with parking right behind the hotel conveniently accessible. I would stay here again. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

I’d stay here again.
Pros:

Close to where we wanted to be, clean, comfortable, everything we needed.

Cons:

The cost of the parking was confusing. The attendant forgot to tell us not to pay at the garage, so we ended up paying almost twice as much to park.
