Go to Stonehouse to take the enjoy.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay, very relaxed with lovely ambience and wished we had booked for two nights instead of just one.

An absolute gem of a boutique hotel.
Pros:

An absolute gem of a boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated with a mid-century feel, organic and very much a blend and complement with it’s surroundings. From the moment you come into the open plan entrance with a carp pool and drift wood mobile you relax. The views are extraordinary - you can have every meal over-looking the hills of Kandy which is just magical. There is also a beautiful, secluded swimming pool to take the heat off after a day in town. We had it to ourselves the 2 afternoons we were there. There are only 5 rooms so nothing is busy. The staff cannot do enough for you - and they make a wicked G&T. But the food! Have a curry and you will not be disappointed. Absolutely delicious with at least 8 accompanying vegetarian sides. The vegetable salad is sublime. I could go on for ages about how delicious the food was but take it from me, a step above anything else I have had in Sri Lanka so far.
I cannot recommend The Stone House more. It’s a very special place.

This was an exceptionally beautiful property that was very quiet, beautiful views and comfortable room. The team were extra accommodating and I would recommend anyone to definitely consider staying.

Wonderful boutique hotel in spectacular settings above Kandy - we were looked after so well, enjoyed our fabulous and immaculate junior suite with an extremely comfy bed and had a wonderfully romantic dinner outside, as well as proper breakfast with breath-taking views towards the mountains.
