City Comfort Hotel on Arbatskaya

-Breakfast was Not bad and Worth the price.
-Room was very hot and the only way to lower the Temperature is to Open the window.
-Location is good.
- staff was very welcoming.

I stayed for two nights and the room was not cleaned during my stay. the room has a wood floor that is broken and is unequal. the morning that I left the attendant was not available even after waiting 15 min. and calling many times. the entrance to the hotel is through an informal bridge. this is not a 3 star hotel at all.

The breakfast was like in kindergarten! I prefer to have self-service breakfast with more choices and facilities. That was not respectful for tourists. Was more like a Motel

Sijainti hyvä,hieman vaikea löytää, koska hotellin kuvan perusteella sai käsityksen, että olisi kadun varrella eli esitteeseen, että pitää mennää musiikkiopiston takapihan kautta eli selkeämpi opastus kadulta nimi ja nuolet.. Aamiainen ei ollut erikoisen hyvä.

Zweckmäßig eingerichtet und für eine Städtetour ausreichend. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist jedoch, dass die Zimmer nicht 'gemacht' werden (Bettenmachen). Die Handtücher und Bettbezüge werden alle drei Tage gewechselt, der Müll jedoch täglich 'entsorgt'. Die Lage ist phantastisch und ermöglicht ein Hin-und Her auch untertags (z.B. um den 'müden Knochen' ein Nickerchen zu gönnen bevor es weitergeht). Als einzigen Nachteil hatten wir ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss in der Nähe des Empfangs. Nachts ging es hier recht turbulent zu (durch an- und abreisende Hotelgäste oder heimkehrende Nachtschwärmer), so dass wir kaum eine Nacht durchschlafen konnten.

Zusammengefasst war Lage und Ausstattung wie wir es erwartet hatten. Tolle, sehr ruhige und zentrale Lage (10 Minuten Fußweg zum Roten Platz und Kreml), ausreichend gepflegte, einfache Ausstattung. So weit ok.
Das große ABER: Wir hatten ein Apartment mit zwei separaten Betten und Sofas auf ca 23 qm gebucht.
Angeboten wurde uns zunächst ein winzig kleines, simples Zweibettzimmer. Nach Reklamation, viel hartnäckiger Diskussion und Wartezeit (mehr schlecht als recht, da man hier nicht gut Englisch spricht) wurde uns dann ein Apartment mit einem Doppelbett und einem Schlafsofa angeboten mit dem Hinweis, dass es so ein Zimmer wie wir es gebucht haben, im Hotel nicht gäbe.

Wir sollen uns an Expedia wenden, sie könne nichts weiter tun...
Das tun wir, denn gebucht und auch bereits bezahlt war eine andere Zimmerkategorie.
So hat eine von uns eine Woche lang auf dem (wenigstens recht bequemen) Schlafsofa geschlafen.
Den Urlaub haben wir uns jedoch davon nicht vermiesen lassen.

Op loopafstand van centrum en metro ingangen. Je hebt veel privacy, men komt niet elke ochtend langs om de kamer schoon te maken, dat gebeurt 's middags. Extra schone handdoek vragen is geen probleem. Vriendelijk personeel!
Genoten van een weekje in dit hotel!

La ubicación es excelente, a unos 400m del Kremlin, la habitación bien pero un poco viejo el mobiliario, como no mantenido. El hotel está en una calle oscura metido unos 30m para adentro, no hay ningún cartel a la calle que indique que ahí hay un hotel, encima cuando llegamos estaban haciendo reformas en esa entrada hacia el hotel, había ruidos y raro la entrada y la calle, a pesar de eso es muy seguro la zona.

Boa, a recepcionista foi muito gentil e prestativa, a localização boa a curta caminhada da Praça Vermelha, e outras atrações, o único problema é não ter elevador e faltar um frigobar no quarto.

Everything was good and clean.

I am aware that we booked the budget basement room, but really it was below budget rating.

Minus = Apart from being tricky to find, the hotel is very dated and in need of repair generally, you may need a member of staff to close your window correctly. Cleanliness is only superficial, best not to look in any corners too closely! The floors are very uneven throughout the hotel and you will need to watch your step as the corridors are poorly lit.
Budget means that your room is cleaned only once a week, bedding and towels are changed every 4 days, unless you requested extra cleaning - which is charged for.
Currently, July 2019, there is building work going on around the hotel so it is noisy and dusty during the day, but work does finish at a reasonable hour so that nights are not disturbed.


Plus = Location Location Location. You are 5 minutes walk from the metro and bus lines. There are lovely restaurants in close proximity as well as fast food outlets, a local supermarket and the pedestrianised Old Arbat Street for souvenir shopping as well as a boulevard for higher end stores.
There was plentiful hot water for the shower, we had enough electrical outlets and the beds were comfortable.
Staff have limited English and are friendly but be prepared to pay extra for any service you may require.

Generally the hotel is well placed for visiting Moscow, and most suitable for those travelling on a budget who are intending to be out and about for most of the day.

A localização é excelente, mas, a rua do hotel é ruim, e pese a tudo é segura na obscuridade noturna...

アップグレードしていただけたのか、想定していた部屋より広くて良かったです。トイレットペーパーが予備の物が置いてない日があり、フロントに度々もらいに行くのが少し困りました。

Останавливались в Сити комфорт отель на 3 ночи. Брали номер с двумя односпальными кроватями.

Местоположение отеля отличное, в 7-10 минутах пешком от метро «Арбатская», в 15 минут от Кремля, рядом есть супермаркет «Магнолия», а также легко дойти до улицы Арбат с множеством кафе.  Отель расположен на небольшой улице,  поэтому,  если возвращаться в отель поздно вечером, то  несколько страшновато идти по пустынной, но хорошо освещенной улице. Вход в отель со двора, на улице указателей мы не увидели, поэтому не сразу его нашли.

Из номера был вид во двор на деревянный забор, так как во дворе шли какие-то работы, но так как  наш номер располагался на первом этаже, в любом случае пришлось  закрывать окна занавесками.

Номер  просторный, есть мини-кухня с электрической миниплитой,  кухонные принадлежности,  холодильник. В ванной комнате была сломана стойка для душа, но по нашей просьбе в тот же день починили во время нашего отсутствия. Также отелем выдается набор для душа - мыло, шампунь, кондиционер для волос "Натура Сиберика". Уборка производится редко, но отель об этом предупреждает.

Стойка регистрации работает круглосуточно, есть комната хранения багажа.

Пребыванием  в отеле довольны, по соотношению цена-качество это было наилучшим предложением.

Except the location all the things of the room which I stayed at were so terrible that it became the worst memory for me.
First of all, hot water runs out in 30seconds!
This forced me to take shower with really cold water and I caught a terrible cold!
Hose keepers incessantly had a noisy quarrel with each other which didn’t let me sleep even a second. They don’t clean the room at all. Even if soaps run out they don’t realize at all. They leave the windows opened so when you come into the room you will find a lot of mosquitoes flying around you!
Really dirty and comfortable circumstances. It is not worthy at all to stay such a horrible hotel. Even around 35 dollars would be too expensive to spend on one night stay here.
You should look for another hotel.
