The location is excellent, staff was really good - the only reason to deduct a star is the mosquito-infested room. The whole time I was in the room, I was swatting one mosquito after another.
Eric the manager is mean needs to take a course in being courteous I paid $65 and no breakfast he tells me my friends paid $22 got breakfast they were Blonde (me person if colour)Moved me out of my original room gave it to the girls Out of toilet paper/water/and No lights turned on property after dark Weird we had to scream to put lights on the hallway Not a safe location Will Never Ever Stay Here Again pictures posted are old does not look like that all The Staff are very nice but Eric another story very mean we all did not like him
Very nice
Very nice
Close to services
I am very lenient, and flexible; however we did not get our room cleaned for our stay there, this includes the breakfast that is “included” cost money in the stay there. If visiting Granada it is better to stay near el Parque for more modern experience and not a bad hotel to stay.
We stayed a week at this quaint hotel. The location was beautiful with a view of the lake. It was convenient to access the lake and walk to central Granada. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. For a small hotel in a developing nation, this hotel delivers all the necessities. We had a great experience with the staff and the area.
Rat infested. Filthy. Did not change my room or offer a refund
Very Clean and nice management
Was very excellent good services the staff very friendly was very good
Very poor customer servoce on the phone when attempting to get assistance with parking since there was no sign indicating where to park the vehicle. The person kept saying she doesn’t speak English and cannot help me. She would then hang up the phone. Someone from Hotels.com attempted call the hotel on my behalf and she experienced the same thing.
Cozy and next to the beach ............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The room was nice and we were happy.
Everything patercia was so helpful she made our stay so easy gave us advice where to eat vegetarian food, five days wasn’t enough to see everything we will be back soon and stay there again.
The hotel El Maltese provided a good experience, overall.
The staff is great, and will try their best to accommodate your needs.
Regarding our room, it is relatively simple, could've used a fresh coat of paint, but overall, was clean. There's plenty of room to store your stuff, a minifridge, hot water, hair dryer, etc. Wifi was on and off (mostly off), which was disappointing. The room we had had very poor isolation from the neighbor upstairs; we could hear his every move.
Location is great, right in front of the Nicaragua Lake. You'll have to walk 10 minutes to get to the main strip. The area is mostly frequented by locals, so that is something to keep in mind if you're coming back late (11pm +) from downtown Granada. However, there is a police ''outpost'' nearby.
If you are an early bird, you can catch a beautiful sunrise on the lake by simply crossing the street to the waterfront.
Included breakfast is simple but we loved it, it definitely gets your day going, and it's typical Nica food.
Second time staying there, great place with a wonderful staff and owner.
I had a wonderful stay! They are uber accommodating; from Mohammad, the owner, Carina, the main receptionist, to the security guard! The property is directly across from the lake with a terrific running route. You can just sit out front and enjoy the buzz of activity without much of the noise and movement. It's also within leisure distance of the heart of everything - close enough to enjoy as much as you'd like but set away from all that overly commercial touristic core. It's great value for money: central, supportive staff, well maintained and there's a gym of sorts.
Centrally located, total steal for the price. Staff were friendly, rooms were updated and very clean. No complaints!
The staff was very pleasant and recommended great restauarants to eat at. The air conditioner went out the day i arrived and the manager worked dilligently to get it back up and running. The hotel also offers bikes to ride around town with. Would recommend this hotel it’s a great value, and close to the water.
Great location! Clean room, go down and have coffee and enjoy the view of the lake! Huge breakfast.
Folks working there are always around and attentive to any questions/issues. Helped me with several arrangements.
Also, I always walked to and from the Calzada and never felt it was that far and always felt safe, even when I would come home at midnight.
