The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Feels like I’m sleeping on the floor and the check in later than a lot of hotels I stayed
The concierge staffs, the cleanliness of the room, location too.
None.
The location was right beside the main tourist area.
You get free coffee/snacks, but staff are not friendly when you ask.
To be clear, we rarely complain. We stayed in four hotels over 18 days and had zero complaints about the other three. Please take this review seriously.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had to date.
The overall attitude from staff was outright dismissive and, at times, rude—shocking for a customer-facing role. On arrival, one staff member was pleasant, but every interaction after that was poor.
The front reception looks nothing like the photos. While not horrible, it felt more like a hostel than a hotel, with advertisements everywhere. We were also not informed that the hallways were under construction. The level of dust and dirt throughout these areas was excessive.
The room itself was unacceptable. It was dusty, the beds were extremely hard (like cement blocks), and we both woke up with sore backs. You are given one pillow each, which completely flattened when slept on and provided no support. I have asthma, and the room triggered it during the night—I ended up sleeping with a hoodie covering my face.
The doors have gaps of around three inches at the bottom, and the walls are paper thin. There is no privacy—you can hear everything happening in the hallway and neighbouring rooms.
We were aware the bathroom would be older, but there was no shower curtain, meaning every shower flooded the entire bathroom. The toilet, sink, and floor were soaked each time. There was also no non-slip bath mat, which is a serious safety and liability issue. Because of this, we had to dry the bathroom after every shower.
To get fresh towels, you are required to go to reception and ask. When I did, the staff member was dismissive and barely looked at me. She went straight to the cabinet to retrieve towels and, without facing me, asked whether I wanted a bath mat as well. It was unclear if she was even speaking to me, as she was calling over others at the same time. The interaction felt rude and uncomfortable.
Localização
Quarto muito pequeno e banheiro alagava.
The location was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.
The shower didn't have a shower curtain so the floor got very wet and I did not feel comfortable walking with bare feet after the shower.
Toilet.....should not flush toilet paper(actually there's only tissue paper) after use??
That was quite a challenge...
Location
When we arrived they told us a story that they tell everyone:
- your room was is too small for your luggage, but thanks to a last minute cancellation we have another bigger room available and we can give it to you for the discount price of 50% more.
We took the room because we didn’t have a choice, our luggage was too big for the smaller room.
But then realized this is what they do to everyone.
Also beds were hard as a rock and we found a small needle in the blanket. When we told the stuff they changed it but looked at us like we were babies
There was initially a small issue with the room I had booked but the two ladies at the front desk on 21 November 2025 evening went out of their way to solve the matter. Excellent service!
Great location. It's in the heart of Xi Men Din.
The hotel is very dated.
Very good location and the staff is super friendly especially Sabrina.
Limited windows
1. The only best thing is the hotel just 1 min away from the popular ximending street and mrt station.
1. The staff were polite the night I checked in 18/11 around 2000hrs. But the next day morning I saw a lady wore black dress long hair playing on the handphone while I asked about where I can find money changer, she didn’t reply instead other lady came from inside and answered me. I’ll attached the photo.
2. They won’t provide any disposable toiletries but will give you 4-5 vouchers to redeem their cake & coffees.
3. I paid RM1200 NT7980 for 4 nights with no window room it’s quite expensive. I’ll only give 5/10 since the location is superb
