I enjoyed the stay in this property. Liked the staff who was very helpful (the lady from Mexico).
Pros:

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful in providing information we were looking for.

Cons:

There was no lift in the building. So we have to take stairs to our 3rd floor. For light travelers this may not be a problem but for those with heavy luggage may need to request for the lower floor.

Pros:

Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, easy to find and good location. On a main bus route, but no road noise. Everything I needed for my brief stay

Cons:

The room I stayed in was down a few stairs, meaning when I left in the early morning, I had to drag my heavy suitcase up them again to get to reception. Only about halfa dozen steps in total, but it would have been nice to know in advance.

Overall our trip was very , very good.
Pros:

We had the last downstairs room across from the the night door so it was easy to access our car. Very quiet room, heard only a few foot steps From the floor above.

Cons:

We catered for ourselves and were staying for four nights. We found it quite difficult to eat and drink our meals as there was only one chair and no table. Also the cups were shallow and small with no saucers - very awkward sitting on the bed!
Found the shower good except it was hard to keep the water the bathroom!!

Pros:

This place is always clean always warm and very sound proof. Check in and check out always easy with friendly staff. The beds here are extremely comfortable. I stay here frequently when I come to Auckland

Not very pleasant facilities but charming staff and great location
Pros:

Location was good in a calm neighborhood with good connections to the city center either by bus and by car. Staff were charming.

Cons:

They didn’t even clean the room a little from one day to another and the place was pretty humid the whole time, with not a very pleasant smell when entering the room.
