Very old and run down. Bright flood light outside room on all night and owner did nothing about it

Very old and run down, cracks and marks on the walls, etc
Very bright flood light outside room that stayed on all night; made it impossible to sleep without eyemask. Told owner but did nothing about it. Had to purchase an eyemask to sleep the following night.
Only one flat pillow per person, not comfortable.

Pros:

The staff where so lovely, helpful and accommodating. The room was a great size and perfect for my work needs. It did overlook a backyard full of rubbish which was not great and the lighting could have been better inside.

Cons:

Stairs, breakfast could have had a few more things like banana bread.

When letting the hotel know about our arrival time, they told me I'd needed to book another night. I was allowed to drop my luggage off early once I asked if I could.
