Mondænt ældre hotel lige overfor indgangen til Tandtemplet
Pros:

Modtaget med en drinks, mens kreditkort betalingen blev ordnet.
Stort rummeligt værelse (109) til den rolige baggård med pool og adgang til café og bar. Store skyggefulde træer med overnattende papegøjer, fugle og jagende flagermus (fruitbats).
Så hyggeligt at lytte til mens byen vågner.
Overdådig morgenmads buffet mlm 7-10. Pooladgang 8-20. Døgnbetjent reception med portere & bellboys.
Alt fungerer, og charmerende at der er skævt, trin er slidt af tusinder fod skridt og nogle originaler fliser er 160 år gamle. Selv elevatoren er en tidslomme.
Daglig rengøring, vand & kaffe/the faciliteter i rummet.
Skønt at komme ind fra Kandys pulserende kaotiske by til en oase af ro.
Anbefaler varmt stedet.

Sijainti hyvä.

Cons:

Ei vastannut odotuksiani. Huone haisi epämielyttävälle. Seinät pahvia, kaikki kuului naapurihuoneesta. Huone kaipaisi remonttia, erityisesti kylpyhuone. Palvelun laatu ei tehnyt vaikutusta. Aamupala ei miellyttänyt.

Very friendly staff and great hospitality breakfast was very tasty

The location was exceptional. It was very close to the Tooth Relic Temple

Great location with historic charm
Pros:

Nice hotel with a nostalgic atmosphere in the center of Kandy, within easy walking distance to the temple. The building is a bit old, the room was not perfectly soundproof due to the nearby road, and the water pressure was quite weak, but overall we had a pleasant stay.

Mit altem Scharm allein kann man nicht punkten

Die Lage ist super, direkt am Zahntempel

Cons:

Klimaanlage war sehr laut, mussten wir zum schlafen ausschalten. Dadurch war es sehr warm im Zimmer.
Das Bad ist schon recht heruntergekommen, die Dusche so eng, dass man sich kaum bewegen kann, der Duschhebel kurz vorm abfallen.
Die Kellner an der Bar waren auch etwas überfordert, Bestellung wurde vergessen, aber wir mussten uns dreimal umsetzen, weil angeblich besetzt.
Wir würden dort nicht mehr übernachten

Well kept Heritage Hotel.
Pros:

Fantastic Heritage Hotel. Very old and still have its own spirit. Not renovated, but very well kept, here you will find true vintage at its finest. Delicious restaurant with perfect food and a very nice pool. Hotel personal is simply amazing. Central location. Best lunches notbonly in town, but simply the best.

Cons:

There might be some things, but to me, comparing to the atmosphere, it's irrelevant.

Fab time, slightly faded grandeur, but definitely worth a stay

Very good location to stay in Kandy

Excellent location right next to the Sacred Tooth Temple, and colonial feel to the premises. Decent buffet breakfast with a varied choice.

Cons:

Not very well soundproofed to the halls, but as expected with such an old building.

Très bon séjour .
Pros:

Hotel historique . J ai été transportee dans une autre époque ( coloniale)
Le personnel est très professionnel
Super bien situé , au cœur de la ville et face au temple de la dent.
Belle piscine pour un moment de détente .
Je serais bien restée 1 nuit de plus.
