the location was good only

Cons:

this is by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed in! i certainly was not happy to pay for such a dirty incomfortable room.From the stain of vomit on the carpet to the entrance to the hotel to the lumpy bed and dirty walls and bathroom and ungy furniture this is a truly horrid place to stay

It was lovely.
Pros:

We liked how shape of the room with the skylights even though it was a little tight.
My husband bumped his head on the ceiling a lot!
The bath was great. The location was great. The people were friendly.

Cons:

A little more room for my husband's head would have been good.

Stadthotel zur optimalen Erkundung von Amsterdam
Pros:

Kleines, angenehmes Hotel im Zentrum von Amsterdam.
Super Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden.
Zimmer klein, trotzdem optimal für ein paar Tage Amsterdam.
Würde dieses Hotel jedem weiter empfehlen.

Cons:

Zimmer Richtung Innenhof, sehr verwahrlost.
Hier könnte man auf alle Fälle etwas aufräumen.

Pros:

Simple, small, but clean room. Meets all expectations considering the price, room pics and other information available at the time of booking. Good value if the location suits your needs. Close to the University of Amsterdam (business school), good coffee on the next block.

Cons:

At one point I could smell cigarette smoke probably arriving from another room from through the window or ventilation system, perhaps another guest was smoking standing by their open window. I don't know, but I would have preferred not to experience this, given all the rooms are non-smoking as far as I can tell. But stuff like this can happen at fancier hotels. I could have been unlucky - it could be due to an inconsiderate guest, not the hotel's fault.
