Ein schönes museales Hotel mit hervorragender chinesischer Küche
Pros:

Das Lishan Guest House wurde einst im klassisch-chinesischen Stiel als Urlaubsherberge für das Staatsoberhaupt Chiang Kai-shek gebaut. 2012 wurde der sehens- und erlebenswerte Gebäudekomplex renoviert. Die gesamte Architektur ist hell und versprüht den Charme der 1950er Jahre auf chinesische Art. Teppichböden und Bad wirkten in die Jahre gekommen, das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet. Im riesigen Speisesaal wurden hervorragende chinesische Gerichte serviert (Halbpension). Zum Abendessen gab's ein beeindruckendes Menü mit sechs Gängen in hoher Qualität.
Im Haus befindet sich ein kleiner Gedächtnisraum für Chiang Kai-shek.

Cons:

Weil das Haus schon älter ist und anscheinend unter Denkmalschutz steht, sind die großen, klassischen Fensterfronten undicht, das Bad könnte eine Grundsanierung vertragen und die Teppichböden wirken wie aus einer anderen Zeit.
