Hotel Ibiscos

L'hotel (che ha da poco cambiato nome e gestione: ora si chiama Ntouana) è una piccola struttura accogliente e in posizione molto comoda, vicina al lungomare ma in zona meno caotica. Le stanze sono ben arredate, anche se avrebbero bisogno di qualche intervento di manutenzione (la nostra aveva un aspiratore nel bagno rumorosissimo che si dovrebbe riparare o sostituire appena possibile). Simpatici e molto gentili i gestori; buona la prima colazione servita in un grazioso giardino. Le stanze che affacciano sulla strada (sono tutte al piano terra) sono un po' rumorose. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Altro che 4 stelle: un incubo!
Iniziamo dalla reception che non è sempre aperta. Bisogna comunicare l'orario di arrivo. La receptionist anche se gentile non è stata in grado neanche di consigliarci un ristorante.
Nella stanza, che sarebbe già piccola per 2 persone, hanno avuto il coraggio di mettere un altro lettino per la nostra bambina: in stanza non ci si muoveva. Il bagno talmente minuscolo che non ci si poteva sedere sulla tazza perché per metà è sotto il lavandino. La doccia minuscola con il telo di plastica incommentabile.
Le lenzuola erano bucate.
Abbiamo dovuto staccare il piccolo frigo per il rumore che faceva.
Il funzionamento dell'aria condizionata pessimo: un dispositivo on/off rumorosissimo: non pensavo esistessero più questi modelli, hanno inventato gli inverter da 20 anni almeno.
Meglio non andare in bagno la notte: La porta del bagno cigolava così forte che svegliava gli altri.
Insonorizzazione inesistente: dalla finestra che dà direttamente sulla strada da un piano ammezzato sembra di avere il traffico in camera.

La camera almeno era pulita e aveva il parquet a terra.
Ottima la colazione, almeno..

Un piccolo hotel a pochi metri dal mare ma in una via più tranquilla. Personale gentile e molto disponibile. Camere pulite, bagno un po' piccolo. La colazione è servita in un bel gazebo pieno di piante e fiori. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Great setting near to the beach and the main restaurants.

accessible by the number one bus from the ktel station, the bus stops about 150 meters from the hotel. i can;'t imagine hostesses better than maria paulo or sophia. great breakfast. no lift.

Very good accommodation, close to the waterfront and with a great breakfast. The only issue was that the bathroom was a little bit on the small side.

The bed was so hard, we walked out and back to our yacht.

Perfect overnight stay, friendly helpful staff, beautiful courtyard garden for breakfast. Only downside very hard mattresses!

Lovely hotel and a good location just 20minutes either way to the beach or town

Great small hotel with character, spotlessly clean, ample breakfast, helpful and congenial hosts. Hotel perfectly placed for all the amazing sites and beaches Kalamata has to offer. We stayed for 19 nights wished it was longer, we would definitely stay at the Ibiscos again.

Very welcoming and helpful staff, lovely room and very good, quirt location with parking on street close by. Will use again.

Very personalable , helpful service, lots of advice about what to visit, where to eat, places of interest, Hotel is a gem, like old Parisian hotels but even smaller only 7 rooms which really makes it special and intimate, Beautiful outdoor bar in garden setting. Close to beach, restaurants, shops. Warml recommended

Friendly staff but very uncomfortable bed and very very small shower room

Great location, welcoming hosts, breakfast was amazing plenty of variety. Restaurants and old town close by. Rooms were clean and lovely. No stairs to contend with for luggage. We would stay here again.

We stayed at the Hotel Ibiscos for one night at the end of a holiday in the Mani as we had a flight from Kalamata the following day. The hotel is is an attractively restored building close to the port and marina. The rooms are of a very high standard, and the hosts made us thoroughly welcome, including arranging an early breakfast prior to our departure. Would highly recommend Hotel Ibiscos for anyone spending time in Kalamata.

Everything was perfect. Good location...plenty of cafes and restaurants down the road. Spacious and clean room...looking out to a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast was really good. A big thank you to the owners Taki and Roxanne who made our stay very enjoyable. Lovely people! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff. A small hotel with only a few room.The rooms are clean. The the breakfast was very nice with most items served to the table. The hotel is in walking distance to the beachfront.
