Rex Hotel

The room was clean though dated. Front desk and breakfast staff were helpful and excellent. A very good European breakfast was provided.

J ai séjourné 3 nuits à cet hôtel d apparence extérieur très beau classé 4 étoiles sauf que les 4 étoiles sont pour l’extérieur et l entrée intérieur qui a garder sa classe.
Les points positifs : l extérieur et l’entrée, un grand ascenseur, le calme.
Le personnel peut souriant mais disponible au attente
Les points négatif : les couloirs et les chambres sont propres mais dans son jus. Manque de prise. Un matelas horrible pas confortable qui fais passer des nuits blanches. Le Pdj n est pas transcendant ( croissant sorti de leur étuve qui durcissent, café pas bon etc)

The building is old. Love the architecture. Our room was spacious and clean. They provide a magnet that you attach in the room to run lights and air. Bed was low to the ground and really firm. Every time I moved it squeaked. Shower was decent. You have to step up into shower so if you are short you need stuff to grab onto.
Air ran on low so really never cooled down to a comfortable temp. It felt nice when you initially walk into room because it was so hot outside but once inside you warmed up.
Breakfast was very good, they had a nice selection of food.

When checking out we had to pay an additional $10 for a tax.

Gut gelegenes Stadt-Hotel im Zentrum von Kalamata. Das Frühstück ist gut und wir haben es genossen, dieses auf der Terrasse einnehmen zu können.

Room was nice but the toilet/ shower room was tiny.

Πολυ παλιά έπιπλα, κρεβάτι απαράδεκτο. Γενικώς χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση.

Lovely hotel, placed in Kalamata’s center. Old but nice and clean.
All staff members are very kind and very helpful with all the questions and information that we needed. Especially both Nicks.
Everything is within walking distance: shops, restaurants, grocery stores.

Rex Hotel was very nice. Located in a high traffic area, there were many options for food, drinks and recreation.

Hotel muy céntrico, cerca del casco antiguo y tiene enfrente una parada de bus para ir a la playa . Buen desayuno.
Excelente relación calidad precio.

Hôtel très vieillot et pas très bien entretenu. Tapisseries se décollant et meubles en mauvais état. Par contre le petit déjeuner est correct. Le wifi ne fonctionne pas très bien non plus

Hotel Rex is a decent choice when visiting Kalamata. It is centrally located (2-3 min walk to the city centre) and parking outside hotel is abundant. The building is very nice, old but well maintained. Staff excellent, breakfast simple but tasty and the rooms renovated. A/C was efficient and silent. To sum it up: Very decent hotel, nothing luxurious but nothing negative to talk about. If you need a "simple" stay without the amenities of a 5 star hotel, then hotel Rex is a safe choice.

L hotel est bien placé sa terrasse à l extérieur est agreable. Il n y a malheureusement pas de parking réservé a l hotel. Le mobilier des chambres est un peu vieillot.,tabouret defonce frigo poussif

I went here for a frappe after visiting the Saturday market in Kalamata. It's an interesting old building in the pedestrianised area in the city centre. A good coffee and friendly service. Totally relaxing sitting under the orange trees.
