La falta de comunicación entre departamentos del hotel. Tuvimos inconvenientes que tardaron en solucionarse por la falta de comunicación . El restaurante sumamente caros los precios aunque delicioso . Le falta mejorar en varios aspectos a este hotel pero lo harán bien ya que disponen de un maravilloso personal !
The room was huge and comfy even the breakfast was amazing. Bonus they have a good view point of Barranquilla and the pool was really nice.
Everything were okay except for another room where the guest were noisy, they were making noise the whole night until the morning

Well they advertise that every single room have safe one room had it other didn’t have and some of my money disappeared from my bag and hot water sistem I weirs the valves the shot Dow and had to call to restart few time even diferen room I stay in 3 rooms

This has been one of my worst experiences ever in a hotel. I stayed at this property for several nights and unfortunately experienced serious and repeated issues with both air quality and cleanliness.
The first room I was given had old furniture, was not properly cleaned, and had a strong stagnant damp odor. I requested a room change and was moved to another room, which initially appeared better.
However, during the night, significant condensation accumulated on the floor. The staff came and dried the floor, but I was not offered an immediate room change. By the following morning, the floor was wet again. This occurred twice, and the water accumulation created not only discomfort but also a potential safety hazard.
The hotel later promised to move me to a “junior suite.” In reality, I was moved to what appeared to be the same room category on another floor. Although the odor was slightly less noticeable at first, the room was again not properly cleaned, and I had to request housekeeping intervention.
Across rooms, there was a persistent musty/mold-like smell, especially overnight. Guests are instructed to keep the air conditioning at 22°C due to humidity conditions and to keep windows closed. It is not possible to open the windows. This suggests an ongoing structural humidity issue rather than an isolated incident.
Breakfast quality was also disappointing. On one occasion, the bread served appeared stale and not fresh, which is unacceptable for a hotel marketed at this level.
While Booking.com eventually initiated a partial refund, the overall handling of the situation was stressful and significantly disrupted my stay in Barranquilla.
For a property advertised as four-star, I expected much higher standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and transparency. I strongly encourage management to address the recurring humidity and housekeeping issues.
