Close to the port but food is poor and very expensive. Area around is very busy.

No me respetaron mi reserva y la primera noche nos dieron dos habitaciones sencillas a cambio de la familiar, esto no los agrado por qué queríamos estar juntos en familia. No respetan la reserva

Friendly and helpful staff

Our suite was spacious with a nice balcony. The room was very clean, well laid out and maintained. Our balcony had nice furnishings. Room for improvement on the shower. Breakfast and dining room were very impressive and breakfast staff was fantastic. The lady at the desk was very patient and helpful. Easy access to the malecon for sunsets and interaction with the wonderful local people. We enjoyed our four night stay and our day boat trip to one of the beaches .

La estructura del hotel es una belleza, pero está muy dejado. No tuvimos acceso a la piscina los días domingo y lunes por mantenimiento (nuestra estadía era de sábado a lunes). La ducha en malas condiciones (sin agua caliente, ni presión). Tampoco cortina. Las luces del balcón las apagaron a las 9 PM el 31 de diciembre y era el lugar en donde estábamos compartiendo.

This feels like a grand institution from the past fallen on hard times, and in Buenaventura that means something. The whole building is chronically undermaintained - no room keys while I stayed, shower heads removed in all three rooms I checked. Staff are demoralised.

Tras años de visitar el Hotel, es triste ver lo que fue y lo que es hoy... Aunque no es una mala experiencia, se nota la mala administración.

Muy buen servicio e instalaciones

El personal del hotel es muy amable y atento. Lo pasamos muy bien, todo muy limpio y cómodo. La comida rica y muy buena relación calidad y precio. A mi madre en silla de ruedas la trataron muy bién, la consintieron y estuvieron muy atentos con ella. Gracias por hacer de nuestra instancia muy agradable.

The hotel is one of the worst I have stayed in. It's old and it feels like instead of upgrading the hotel, they have just been patching it up and doing a poor job of it. Its a shame that they have let it go to waste.

Todo Muy Bien hasta que al momento de hacer Check out me indican que el cobro a la tarjeta no se había realizado aun y que no me podían emitir la Factura. Esto es fatal puesto que la factura es obligatoria para todo establecimiento debidamente constituido ademas de que es indispensable para presentar el reporte de gastos en mi compañía.

Buena estancia en este hotel, aunque podria mejorar en el tema de restaurante y snacks complementarios y disponibles a toda hora.

This is and old building (almost 100 years old), they have a good service, it's clean and the hotel offers a pretty view, but they really need to invest in the rooms. The hotel is comfortable enough if you go for a shot trip, the bathrooms aren't nice, but again, it's clean and organized.
There are not a lot of options in Buenaventura besides this hotel an Cosmos Pacifico, and both of them are located in the "best" part of the city.

Das Zimmer hatte eine ungenügende Ausstattung. Es hat keine richtigen Fenster. Der Lärm von draussen konnte so ungehindert eindringen. Auch Nässe des Regens....

El Hotel como tal tiene una apariencia buena la fachada es espectacular pero las habitaciones si dejan mucho que desear, muebles viejos y en mal estado, el closet esta en malas condiciones y los baños grotescos y sucios

regular: no servia la caja fuerte, se daño la persiana, parqueadero no cubierto, no tenian pastas para el dolor, la llave digital constantemente se desactiva, muy rico el restaurante.
