Great location with stunning views

Excellent visit
Pros:

Visited from Austria. The location has been fantastic. Car park on-site for a small fee of 25 Euros - was ok too.
Already our fourth visit to Amsterdam and of course to Pension Homeland.
Receptionist very welcoming and polite (but nothing else expected from this top site).
Room with view to the Ship-Museum which has been fantastic too.
Location, for anyone who does not know it, is as close as it gets to the centre. Only a slow 10 minute walk to Central Station.
All in all a delightful visit yet again. Thank you Team Homeland. To quote a famous Austrian. I’ll be back. 👌

Pros:

Nicely quirky, relaxed and cosy hotel. Great location in the Eastern Docks. We ate there twice and although the menu was short, we thought it was good quality and good value. Good beer and wine list. If you like saunas (there's one right next door) bring a swim suit - you jump straight into the dock. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice tough with coffee/ tea and flasks of water at a central point.

Cons:

The shower room would have benefitted from a bigger shower screen as the floor got very wet.

Ideale locatie, simpel maar schoon.
Pros:

De locatie is ideaal voor mensen die bij de kazerne moeten zijn, daarnaast fijn dat je een parkeerplek kunt reserveren. Op straat parkeren is veel duurder, schone kamer met frisse badkamer.

Pros:

Vzhladom na miesto konania konferencie bola poloha ubytovania idealna. Personal bol velmi privetivy a priatelsky. Vyhlad z mojej izby bol do pristavu na lod ukotvenu pri namornom muzeu. Postel v jedno-osobovej izbe ma sirku 120 cm, co bolo za mna super.

Cons:

Je to stara budova konvertovana na penzion. Okna su jednotabulove, takze v sezone, kedy je potrebne kurit si vyhlad neuzijete, kedze su komplet zarosene. Chapem ze ceny v Amsterdame su mozno vyssie ako inde, ale v porovnani s inymi ubytovaniami v tejto cenovej kategorii taha penzion Homeland za kratsi koniec.

Séjour sortant des sentiers battus.
Pros:

Hôtel original (côté vintage) situé dans le quartier tranquille de la marine. Parc paisible tout autour, et un large canal avec vue sur le navire Amsterdam et le musée de la marine. Le bar-restaurant avec terrasse est un très bon atout. On s'y sent tout de suite chez soi. Excellent petit déjeuner à la carte. Personnel très accueillant.

Cons:

La chambre était petite et quelconque. Mais j'avais une jolie vue, et j'y ai bien dormi.
