Pleasant little hotel and helpful staff
Pros:

The room was nice, we were right off reception on the ground floor. The area is very nice to walk around and close to restaurants and cafes and the malecón.
The lady who takes care of things and makes the breakfast was lovely and helped with our luggage collection that we were sending ahead via courier.

Pros:

This boutique hotel is great for socialising, is close to the malecón, and it's shining star is Gloria. She makes you feel SO welcome and is so helpful. She also prepares a fantastic breakfast each day. She is what makes this place what it is. Gracias Gloria :) - rooms are excellent with hot water showers

Cons:

Wifi in the room wasn't fantastic - but was fine in the public spaces, which are very nice to work from. If you are travelling out of hours make sure that you check the contact details for entry.

Pros:

Al final tuve que irme, por qué no cumplí las expectativas de un hotel, creo que está más como un hostel o Airbnb, ya que me dieron llave de la puerta, la habitación cerrada en un primer piso sin ventanas, extremadamente pequeño y con humedad. Uno debía anotarse para el desayuno y espacios en común super reducido..es como una casa la volvieron hostel..

Pros:

Señora Gloria is the beating heart of this small hotel - through her welcoming smile, excellent breakfast & service & presence. She makes everyone feel extremely welcome. Hotel is close to the Malecon for sunset views & Kennedy Park for restaurants, etc. Immediate area of hotel is quiet, but more active life isn't far away. Beautiful patio area. Very comfortable bed & hot showers. I preferred a room on second floor. The hotel advertises that reception is only covered in the day until 10pm, but you might miss that information, so just in case you need to know for late arrival, etc. There is an emergency phone line (24 hours) to contact if you need it.

Cons:

Wifi was good in public areas but not great for the room. It just meant that I had to work in the public spaces, which was fine.

Location, location, location. Beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious.

Cons:

Most of the staff didn't speak English or understand how to use Google Translate. They had promised early check in while booking, which didn't happen when we actually arrived. They also didn't offer laundry despite saying both online and in the room pamphlet that they provided this service. The breakfast was decent but took forever to make. They asked us what time we wanted to eat and took our order in advance and even then, the food wasn't ready until 25 minutes past when we had requested it. There is no secure luggage storage. They just put it next to the front desk but often the staff leave to do chores around the hotel. Literally anyone could just take the bags since it's not locked anywhere.

Don’t stay here. Cheaper more quality accommodations available in the area.

The staff was extremely kind, and the breakfast was good.

Cons:

Where do I begin… I requested a quiet room, and they gave us the only room connected to the lobby and facing the street, with knowledge of someone checking in at 11pm that night. We requested a quieter room and were brought to a room on the second floor that poured a wall of must as soon as we opened the door. The room was no quieter, maybe even louder with street noise. The fan did not work. We requested a third room, reminding them we had requested a quiet room. We were brought to a room back on the ground floor, facing the street, but without a window, so at least the street noise was not as bad. However, this room also reeked of must and mold. It was damp, and everything from the air to the towels (ew) were wet with stains. We requested new towels only for those to be wet too. We then requested a cancellation because of the state of the rooms, and the request was denied. When showering the water flooded the bottom of the shower floor. The walls and ceiling did not look clean and were obviously damaged by moisture. The bed cover was not well cleaned (hair on the cover). We had stayed at another hotel earlier in our trip in Mira Flores, but that hotel, for a similar price, had at least kept the air moving in the rooms to avoid Lima’s humidity from doing too much damage. This hotel might have been comfortable at one point (we saw Booking.com/TripAdvisor awards on the lobby wall from 2019), but it has not been taken care of since. The rooms are in desperate need of updates. Do not stay here.

Excelente opción para alojarse en Miraflores
Pros:

Este pequeño hotel en Miraflores es una joya, en los últimos años he ido a Lima cada año y siempre me he alojado aquí, y también he mandado a otras personas. Se encuentra al lado del hermoso Malecón de Miraflores, es perfecto para salir a pasear tanto de día como de noche (es un lugar muy seguro). Se ofrece un desayuno muy bueno, con muchas opciones. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas.

Cons:

No hay nada que no me haya gustado.
