Es war alles sehr schön
Gibt nichts auszusetzen
The view from the third floor seaview balcony bedroom - unbelievable 🏄🏻♀️. We spent so much time just surfer spotting from our vantage point - with a strong coffee and the most delicious, melt in your mouth, shortbread biscuits that were provided. We really enjoyed the breakfast and bar facilities. We didn't use the Spa or have an evening meal within the venue. Breakfast and Bar staff were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Fistral Beach Hotel is on our list of places to revisit 😎 The pictures were taken on two separate days - weather changed constantly throughout our stay.
The lift was slow and small, for such a large establishment. We did manage to park in the hotel car park each night (just) and imagine that this could be problematic in busier months. There is a compromise in choosing this venue for its views or easy access into Newquay town centre - we used taxi services throughout our stay as the view/scenery was our priority. The pillows were too hard for me.
Helpful and friendly staff. We had a lovely break. The breakfast is always exceptional.
None.
The hotel and the staff were lovely
The room we had was of ample size with a king size bed, and the view from the balcony was stunning the breakfast which was a full english on both days was excellent on the first day but it was not very good on the second day, if I wasn’t sceptical I would say it was left over from Saturday and just re heated. The staff in both the bar area and the restaurant were exceptional, they couldn’t do enough for myself and my wife.
Not very disabled oriented, only one disabled parking spot and getting to the check in desk from outside you needed to scale stairs and once you were checked in you needed to go up even more steps. However the staff were exceptional with acknowledging my wife’s disability and ensured she was well looked after.
The view, the food and could not fault any of the staff 🙂
The decaff coffee from the machine is terrible! And the one for the morning is not good enough
A waiter kindly gave me a cafeteria of Decaf which was lovely
Near are room at night someone door kept banging on and off up until the early hours
Lovely room. Sea view.
The spa could be kept cleaner.
Great hotel for adults. Fab location. Beds super comfy and gd sized rooms. We gad lovely sea view even in Feb was lovely to look out onto fistral beach to watch brave surfers. Neil, breakfast manager, and Callum were so friendly and helpful, really made us feel relaxed and welcome. Really enjoyed our 2nd stay here. We will definitely return next year. Just a pity its a 700 mile round trip for us by car. Worth every mile x
Would highly recommend this hotel. All aspects of their service, and delivery are wonderful.
The Hotel is in a beautiful location and Was one of of the best hotels in Newquay.
But how things have changed in February 2026
You now get hidden charges for parking and the carpets in the rooms filthy dirty and the bedding made me itch for days afterwards.
They don't tell you about the £60 a day parking that is sent on as a bill following your departure.
Very friendly staff facilities very good
Parking isn't the best also view from the room poor.
Everything it said it would be, great food, amazing staff, excellent room very spacious with sea views, lovey bar and so facilities.
Nothing at all
Beautiful views. Staff where fantastic.

The the staff are pleasant and the hotel is very clean. Our room had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a fridge, our view was the tops of flat roofs, nothing more. Now for the bad points, it's up a steep hill which is about a 45 minute walk from the town (even longer coming back up the hill) and beach. Breakfast was OK, usual full English, fresh fruit, toast etc, evening meal had too many herbs, spices and seeds for my liking but others would like that. If you go there on a coach tour as we did, ignore the food photos, they're for private guests, coach people don't get the same. Having said that, going there was an experience I don't wish to repeat. It's a lovely hotel if its your kind of holiday but sadly I don't think it's a good place for a coach tour.
